Nancy'S Bordello

Yesterday we had our wedding reception upstairs in Nancy Bordellos. The room was perfect, the food was astounding and our barman was amazing. A true gentleman, catering for all our needs. I can not thank them enough. It truly was amazing. It made our day perfect. Nothing was too much. The food was truly out of this world.

Thank you all so so much. I would recommend them to anyone and we'll definatley be back xx

What can we say other than Fantastic! We planned our wedding reception and evening with the team from Nancys and on the big day it all went to plan, the food, atmosphere and service were outstanding!! Kristin and her team need to be proud of themselves as they are first class at what they do.. they made our day truly amazing and we cannot thank them enough. Thank you, love the Nicola & Chris xxx

We hired the snug at Nancy's Bordello for an afterparty, following our wedding reception at the Castlegate around the corner. We had a great time and it made a lovely ending to the evening. We really enjoyed spending an extra couple of hours with a more intimate group of guests. The staff at Nancy's made it so easy for us to book with them, and we only had to pay a £50 returnable deposit to book the space. Thanks to everyone at Nancy's!

We grabbed a quick bit to eat here and the food was delicious; really lovely . Staff were great - definitely visit again for sure

This place is amazing, staff all nice and friendly, food comes quick and tastes amazing - not to forget the array of cocktails and reasonably priced drinks! Highly recommend �

Thank you so much to Kirstin and the Nancy's team for throwing us a great wedding reception in the Boudoir function room last weekend. We had a fab night! The whole party planning process was so easy as the staff at Nancy's are so helpful, accommodating and professional. A big huge thank you! xxxx

I had my sister-in-law's hen party here on saturday and we had a fab time. The staff were full of fun and the food was fab. We had afternoon tea followed by a cocktail master class, best master class I've done so far.

Great food, great cocktails and the bar staff are lovely!xx

Fabulous day 11th March for our brothers 60th staff were excellent the food was great fantastic day thank you to all the staff .

Daughter celebrated her 18th at Nancy’s, fab venue, staff could not have been more helpful, food was exactly what she wanted, lovely atmosphere, plus they loved the cocktails.

Brilliant venue and team. From the helpful suggestions before the event to the warm welcome on the night of my party. Great venue, great staff, the food was excellent and all of my guests (from Newcastle and further a field) have given such positive feedback regarding the night. Would highly recommend.

Barman and amy were great and so was the food!!! Best ribs and wings ever....plus heineken on tap (my fav) thanks again guys (alex on sunday)

I'd just like to say I had my baby shower here at the weekend and it was lovely. The gentleman who worked behind the bar was so helpful and friendly, he was super smiley and made a lovely mocktail! The room was lovely just quite warm, opening the windows didn't help much but there was a terrace so we just opened the door. Bit difficult for my gran and my sister with a pram to get upstairs as there is a lift but a member of staff needs to be there to assist (again, even though the barman seemed super busy he came to help as soon as he could, so thank you to him!) from what I'm told the food was nice and there was plenty! (as the mingling host I realised too late that I had missed the food while it was warm �) overall I think it was a lovely little venue and everyone had a nice time which is all I could have asked for. Thank you!

Great small party venue nice room with roof terrace. The staff were so nice too. No good for beer drinkers don’t think there was much choice. The vodka was good though.

Great looking bar but the Bose sound system has seen better days. Terrible sound quality and blown speakers make for a nasty ear experience!! Shame really. Decent prices for drinks, even the cocktails.

One star for very friendly and helpful staff and one star for quick service and nice nachos with an impressive looking cocktail menu.

Lack of stars for tasteless mains, filthy toilets and sticky tables. The hand dryer in the ladies nearly burnt my hands, there was a distinct lack of hand-wash and no running water from two of the three taps.

My son and husband had burgers (not in a brioche as stated on the menu). My husband said it was the worse burger he'd ever had and my son said he's tasted like McDonald's. My fish finger sandwich was made with frozen fish fingers and the fish looked grey! Pancake stack was nice and chocolate brownie very average, but again just shop bought rubbish which is displayed nicely. If we hadn't have had a taste card and paid full price we would have probably refused to pay at all. Avoid.
