Went with my my father for an open scan today due to his claustrophobia and found all the team extremely reassuring, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Newcastle Clinic's open scanner to anyone who is nervous or apprehensive about an MRI as they will look after you and go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable

Went for my MRI scan there last week due to not being able to use the scanner at Sunderland General hospital as was causing me to have anxiety feelings. The staff at Newcastle Clinic were absolutely amazing talked me through what was happening at each stage of scan which lasted over an hour. You are allowed to take someone in with you into the scanner room which is another plus. Would be great if Sunderland General would consider purchasing this open scanner.

Visited on 31st October (Halloween)��

This was my 4th MRI scan here on my lower back and my 2nd on the open one...im a big lad 6ft 4 and 17.5 stone , I felt really comfortable alot more than I did on the old enclosed one. Service is always friendly and very professional and would definitely recommend *****

Today I had my very first MRI Scan at Newcastle clinic as I have Claustrophobia I was nervous and terrifield about having it done, as soon as my husband and I walked in to the clinic the staff on the desk made you feel at home and offer us a coffee or tea. when going in to the room to have my scan the male staff ( with a beard) was lovely and he explained to me every thing that was going to happened and told me to lie back and enjoy the rest! It was nice as I could take my husband in with me and held my hand. I would like to say a very big thank you for making my visit to Newcastle clinic stress free anyone that needs to go don't worry x

The staff who were on duty on wed 27th Jan were excellent, if it hadn't been for the 2 staff who were doing the scan I wouldn't have been able to do it

They were so caring and trying to keep me calm because even tho it was an open scanner it still made me feel claustrophobic

One of them stayed with me the whole of the time holding my hand ( yes I know I'm a whimp )

So a big thank you to both of you for getting me through it.

The newcastle clinic is one amazing privet clinics, for the fist time in my life I was seen before my appointment time and the staff where amazing dead friendly and always putting the patients first!! I'd highly recommend this clinic to everyone!!

No waiting time and the staff are very friendly, the MRI scan is much less stressful as it is open and you don't feel closed in like the other scans I have had you can take someone in within you if you feel nervous and they play music to help you relax

I’d like to thank Dr Mansfield Dr Brady and all the staff at the RVI on ward 46 for taking care of me after my op everybody couldn’t do enough for you the care was excellent thank you again �

I would like to thank you for the kindness and consideration you gave to me today whilst having my MRI. I am VERY claustrophobic and the gent who did the scan was lovely! Between him and my husband sat at the side they kept me calm. Thank you so much

I was here on the 16th of feb...it has a lovely calm feel to the place and the staff are lovely from the receptionists to the scanner staff...yes its not pleasant i wont lie, but because its an 'open' scanner i felt so much more at ease..i urge anyone with fears, like myself, to keep to their appointments coz if i can do it, anyone can �

I visited the Newcastle Clinic yesterday for an MRI Scan of my Head and Neck.I have had 2previous scans in the tunnel ones and as I get claustrophobic and suffer from panic attacks was really apprehensive about having another one .

The radiographer was lovely and she did everything she could to make me feel comfortable and at ease .

I would certainly recommend this clinic to anyone .

I had an MRI scan on my head yesterday and just wanted to say thank you to the lovely radiographers called Ken and Matthew that looked after me. Everything was calm and not rushed at all. I was given plenty of time to ask questions, get comfy, and find a position that suited me (on my side, looking out of the scanner). Can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you to all X

I cannot praise the staff here, highly enough. They made me feel at ease throughout the whole process of an MRI scan on my wrist. I had a bad reaction to the dye which was injected and they never left my side throughout. They could not do enough for me and even rang me the next day to make sure i was ok. Thank you all so very much x

Have to say all members of staff were very friendly and professional. However the two ladies in the MRI suite today, 7/4/17, were amazing. Talked me through my procedure, gave me choices and calmed me down when I was scared. They were so very patient with me, and kind. Was even allowed my husband with me to hold my hand. Would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone who suffers from Claustrophobia, to have their diagnosis confirmed or ruled out. Huge thanks to all.

Had my scan Saturday 28th, and I have to say from receptionist to radiologists they are all fantastic, special thank you to the male radiographer he is so calming, fantastic place ��

Fast and efficient service. Went for a MRI scan and was seen to on time. Nice modern premises with tea and coffee facilities along with tvs in the waiting area.

Can't really fault the place, arrived straight round to the room, head in machine. Polite staff, nice place. 2 tips for them, some lights in car park would help and better clearer music in the mri room. For a DJ it was awful to listen to naff chart stuff but can't mark them down for that.

Big thank you to all the staff at the Newcastle clinic, the mri staff look after you very well so a big thank you to them. I have had several mri scans and would recommend this clinic.
