Piano Teacher - Would you like to learn to play the piano? Nicola Sim Pianist also provides a mobile piano tutoring service, which means that you can learn to play in the comfort of your own home (having your own piano /keyboard is a necessity). Learn to play to pass exams or even just for fun - I have a 100% pass rate for students entering in ABRSM exams, with most achieving Merits and even Distinctions. I am able to travel to Middlesbrough, Stockton, Billingham (Including Wynyard) and of course Hartlepool which is where I am based. Think about the time and effort you could save by having lessons in your own home.

I am happy to teach a range of ages from 3 - adult and have suitable experience in teaching all ages in this bracket. I currently also provide piano teaching services for students attending Nunthorpe Academy in Middlesbrough and have done so since 2010, so if you are looking for an experienced piano tutor for your school, then look no further.


Terms of Business:

You will need to have a piano or weighted keyboard in your home, or at the venue where the piano lessons are to be held.

Piano lessons will be weekly for the duration of each school term for children of school age (up to 18). If you would like your child to continue with lessons during the school holidays, this absolutely fine and can be arranged.

Adults may learn at any time of day, throughout the year.

A change of time or day will be given whenever possible if another commitment causes difficulty in attending a piano lesson.

There will be no charge for a lesson that has been cancelled as late as 24 hours in advance, however, for same day cancellations the full fee will be payable the next lesson.

I have a valid CRB check, and am covered by Public Liability Insurance. I am also a member of the Musician's Union. I am also tax registered.
