Such an iconic building! Great to see that the renovation and refurbishment works have been granted approval. The building will be used as a new hub for innovation and engineering - this is fitting given historically the building was originally used for mining and engineering purposes from the mid 1850's. #northeast #newcastleupontyne #development #architecture
