What a Great end to a fantastic first year. A year of a few very testing times but outweighed by the hundreds of great ones. Great times created by our customers, our regulars, returning and new customers. Thank you all for the laughs, the atmosphere the support and the friendships. It feels like we are our own little community, thank you. A huge thank you to our small but perfectly formed front of house team. Daryl only 4 months in to a completely new field, putting on an ...amazing first year celebration and festival. Robyn who keeps us all in line behind the bar, fantastic enthusiasm and hard work. I thank you all, however I must place it on record that orb would not have existed or continued without the love and support from my wonderful wife Louise. Most of which goes unseen and in the background. Her energy, drive and support has and continues to amaze me, thank you, love you. That all said, we wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year, let’s keep the party going at orb xx

What a week it has been! Massive thank you to everyone who has celebrated with us.
We sold a lot of beer yesterday, it was the busiest we’ve ever seen it! But fear not...we still have plenty of cracking beer on offer.
To bring our birthday beer festival to an end we have live music from Vicky Barber at 4pm. See you all soon for a super Sunday!

What an amazing atmosphere, what a fabulous range of drinks; enough to suit even the most hardened teetotallers (please please try the rhubarb and custard stuff; it's unutterably sublime).



ORB has achieved a wonderful balance of feeling full enough when it's quiet (no need to whisper to disguise your voice if you're one of few) and not claustrophobic when it's bursting at the seams (you don't feel jostled and there's no need to shout to make yourself heard).



The loos are immaculate, the attention to detail is wonderful, and the peanuts are fab (couldn't resist a peanut comment)



ORB is a pub made with love and diligence. Am so proud of Ian and Lou. You done well, my sons! Poop a scoop!

What a fabulous place! We went in to check it out a couple of weeks ago and are fast becoming regulars!

Cute little pub, very friendly staff and the ginger cider is highly reccommended. Little music would have been nice just to finish off the atmosphere :)

A new Micropub featuring several real ales from small local breweries and craft keg beers. The landlord also intends to sell beers from his own brewery in the future. Another welcome addition to the Darlington beer scene.

A great little micropub with an impressive variety of ales and craft beers. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks they sell. Looking forward to trying some of their own beers when they start brewing them later this year.
