just returned from a fabulous New Year at this site. Having spent a few nights on the touring pitches earlier in the year, we decided to return for New Year. On our previous visit we were very impressed by the facilities, staff and welcome we received and it was no different thIs time - A great site, with a great wee golf club attached. Highly recommended. Well done to all the management and staff, we will be back in 2017 👏👍

Well first time here with my tour caravan and what a great place lovely dog walks and great pitches water electrics and waste all next to van which made my stay a lot easier. staff were great very helpfull .showers clean and very hot water . the caravan park itself is spotless . plenty of open spaces and a nice pint after a long walk with the dog . now on the down side the only complaint I have is the golf buggies whitch were driven by some children and some adults and allowing they children to drive to fast through the caravan tour section other wise a fab place to go loads to do and loads to see I will give this park 5 stars brilliant

We stayed here for a weekend in a lodge by the clubhouse, beautiful surroundings very well equipped and presented accommodation, contributed to a great break, kids and adults loved it, so relaxing and enjoyable (3 adults and 5 kids).



Staff were helpful, polite and accommodating, great customer service.



We will definitely be looking to stay again. Thank you Percy Wood :)

We purchased our peaceful and quiet holiday retreat last August. This is a fantastic place. Staff can't do enough to help you settle in, even now almost a year on and they are all still attentive.



Owners are respectful of other people's needs for quiet. So no constant dog barking, no loud music, no screaming children or noisy teens. Everyone speaks to everyone, wether it be just a cheery "hello" or a "good morning".



Of course being on the edge of a fabulous golf course does help. Great food at the Golf Club. Woodland walks and seeing ducks waddle right up to your deck for some bread.... Well... Ah... Not forgetting that you see all kinds of wildlife too.. If you are lucky you might just get to see some deer..



Best investment of time and money ever... Love it here, we just need more time to enjoy it...

We have probably had one of our best holidays to date here at Percywood everyone was so friendly and welcoming, at the golf club the staff spoke to us as if they had known us for years and the food was amazing my son and daughter did not want to leave and to be honest neither did I. I have and I will be recommending this place to my family and friends and I am definitely booking up for our next holiday thank you Percywood and all the staff at the golf club hopefully see you next year or maybe sooner � ☺

We had the best fourteen years of ownership and made so many memories there xx always my happy place xx happy Easter to you all xxx

We are new owners on Percy Wood and we can honestly say it is the best thing we have ever done. Having visited a number of sites in the Lakes and in Northumberland, with a view to purchasing a holiday home, Percy Wood was our chosen park. It is clean and tidy, the staff are fantastic and the surrounding areas are just outstanding. We cannot compliment the staff enough for helping us through the process and for all their excellent service. We hope to be there for many years to come.

Very welcoming staff and we got our 9 nights stay as a great deal.. it was a lovely site but only had 1 toilet / shower for the ladies so you had to be quick as someone might have been waiting too ... we also had a lovely game of golf at percy wood whilst we were there.. we also had some lovely visitors the evenings a mother and father deer with there 2 foals..

Second time we visited and once again we loved it, myself and my husband had such a relaxing weekend the caravan was beautiful, our 2 children have absolutely loved playing in the park for hours on end with all the other kids, wonderful weekend happy kids = happy parents �

New owners since October and so far we have had numerous weekends. Its truly our chill out place we are here for a week at the moment to recharge. Staff are very helpful and nothing is a bother. The park is very well kept the guys work hard to keep it that way. Sampled the food at clubhouse and its good although not sampled new menu yet, hoping to this week. Happy days.

Great mini break in the cabins so peaceful, popped in for Sunday lunch to the club house and was really impressed great quality and fresh. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing children well catered for and their meal was of equal quality and freshness. Will book again x

After visiting several parks in the area. We have decided this is the park for us. Beautiful

This park is ok, but if I knew how much the electric, gas and water went off over the year I wouldn’t have chosen here. No communication or heads up when any of this happens so your left some days in the dark or freezing cold or have to go to work with no shower, can’t even brush teeth. Sorry but your communication is a joke!

Also while I’m on my soapbox it wouldn’t hurt to put a bit of grit down for your owners in icy conditions?

The idea of cordoning off the top of Woodside is brilliant! It seems the management have stumbled (albeit inadvertently) upon a way to stop the speeding cars on this stretch of park after years of complaint from many residents and nothing being done about it. It may also stop the constant drone of construction vehicles going past at what should be a sanctuary at weekends and bank holidays. Just the potholes to sort now and I'll finally be happy regarding this stretch of road. We might even get some long waited for peace and quiet after so many complaints...

Adam, unfortunately this message is from 2 Not Very Happy customers of the caravan park and the golf course. I think that it was totally underhand that your residents were not informed of the planned changes to the site and course. If we had been made aware of the changes i.e. The reduced 9 hole course and removal of yet more forestry in a 3 star David Bellamy park, we would not have renewed our site fees. We will not consider joining a 9 hole golf course as there are plenty to choose from in the area. Jen & Ian Milne.

The site is lovely and the grounds so well kept but the refuse area was overflowing with rubbish and really not an asset to have right next to the touring pitches.

The woods a d wildlife are wonderful. Please do not spoil it by building on the golf course. Not necessary when most of the vans were unoccupied in the bank holiday week.
