// MACMILLAN FUNDRAISING FOR CASTLE HOWARD HALF MARATHON // RACHEL
This years challenge i am training towards doing my first half marathon at castle Howard on 21st July 2019! Along with this I am also holding a few events here at the studio to raise money for an amazing charity, Macmillan.
The first event will be a sponge throw on Tuesday 4th June from 5-7:30pm! here is your chance to get your own back and use that strength to throw some bubbly wet sponges at myself !
... On Monday 10th June I will be holding a cake stall, with a selection of yummy treats to indulge on and some healthier options too!
The week commencing Monday 17th of June will be a 100 square raffle with the chance to win some lovely prizes! Each square will be £1 !

This class is a full body workout, using a variety of different equipment to keep the heart rate up so you're burning lots of calories, as well as overtime helping you to tone up (due to hypertrophy of the muscles) This class is great fun to participate in, with lots of motivation and encouragement to keep you going!

Great session with Julie this morning!
Before the session Julie had been coming to the gym lacking confidence in increasing her weights and hit a bit of a wall with pushing forwards with her goals. ... She used to do the single leg press with no weights at all, and we worked up to performing the exercise confidently with 15kg on each leg with still more room left to increase further !
Here at PNF we work with clients not only to increase physical strength but also help to make them feel at ease, and perform exercises confidently with the right technique. It’s not all about how much we can lift but about what we can push our bodies so that we see change for the better.
Sometimes all you need is someone to tell you you CAN do it ! Someone to guide you in the right direction towards where you want to be!

// Body Torque // Body Torque is an amazing full body class with a mixture of weights, core exercises and cardio exercises to keep the heart rate up so you're burning more calories! You can pick which weight you'd like to add to the bar so you lift to your ability! With the bar we will be doing exercises such as shoulder press, squats, lateral lunge, bench press etc.
We also add in core exercises to strengthen the abdominals, and cardio exercises to keep the heart rate up so... we're burning those calories.
Body Torque is an extremely fun class, and due to popular demand we have the class running frequently: Monday - 1:30 - 2:20PM
