We had the 'big dish special' which this week was lamb hot pot followed by treacle sponge and custard. Absolutely beautiful. We liked it so much we have booked to go back next week to try the cow pie. Definitely worth a visit!

Visited the PB yesterday for the first time and it is fabulous. We had teas, coffees and of course cake! Sampled 3 cakes between us, as we are some what cake critiques and they were all great. My favourite was the carrot, followed by the ginger and lemon. The staff were really friendly and we will definitely be back

Visited for brunch for the fourth time a few days ago. Service is always attentive but relaxed and you never feel like you're being hurried out, even at the weekend. The brunch menu is good quality and well priced.

Very nice food, ambience and service. Colouring and games for kids.

This place is just superb! A tearoom, which may make you think 'twee and boring' but it's far from that! Great scoff and the place was full, we got only free table (says it all really) Will make a point of stopping by every time I'm in the area! Looking forward to my next cream tea already!

The Post Box looks great from the outside and is every bit as good inside. The menu is exciting and my food was delicious. A warm welcome too! Shame I live so far away in France most of the time!

Thanks for doing a fab kids afternoon tea when school finished today for ten reception school boys. A delicious mini feast of Nutella pancakes, chocolate brownie, cheese sandwiches and squash. A lovely way to round if the year and some tasty food and coffees for mummies too! Fantastic helpful service, and we had the best time xxx

Recovering from knee replacement and decided to walk from my home for exercise, Only popped in for a scone and cold drink but wow I had the fruit scone with cream and jam, the scone was absolutely delicious and my friend had the cheese scone she too couldn’t fault it. Friendly staff and a seat that was comfy for my knee made it an enjoyable experience.

Myself and my 4 year old recently enjoyed a superb breakfast at the Post Box.



First off, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and upon walking in you get a firm feeling of being in for a real treat – this is a notch up from your normal high street coffee house!



We both really enjoyed our visit and some real thought has gone into making this café both a sanctuary for adults, as well as a family friendly venue. The children’s menu deserves a special mention. The choices are fun and intriguing, with an emphasis on simple, fresh and nutritious food. My little boy had a boiled egg with postmen (egg ‘n’ soldiers), which he thought was great fun. The adult menu has all the usual breakfast favourites together with some more adventurous temptations like pancake stacks. Having table service adds a real air of class and the staff were relaxed, friendly, and attentive. Our breakfasts were freshly cooked and thoroughly enjoyable, and the coffee is also delicious Looking forward to going back with the rest of the family soon.

Lovely little coffee shop... loved looking at the deco and art work on the walls. Staff... especially Claire... are lovely. Scone was delicious and the kids loved their hot chocolate. Will definitely be returning �

I love this place. Had a fabulous late breakfast yesterday, poached eggs with halloumi on a muffin, all perfectly cooked. The Post Box also hosts a great writing group on a Wednesday evening. It's everything a coffee shop should be and more!

Have had Caribbean food - Post Box Outdoors - at Arch2 - just stunning!

Had a lovely meal here last Friday night. Last minute decision to go and turned up ten minutes before they finished serving but nothing was a problem ! Had three courses and each one was beautiful,especially the summer risotto. Nice atmosphere and very helpful waiting on staff. Will definitely be returning !

Firstly, I must point out that I don't normally do 'reviews' but I felt that it was necessary in this instance:



My wife, our (nearly) 2 year old son and I visited yesterday for lunch whilst our eldest son attended a party nearby. What a fantastic place!!!! Our little one had a picnic box, which we thought was an excellent idea - he absolutely loved it!



My wife and I shared a 'Posh Wild Mushrooms on Toast' from the Specials board as a starter - which was sensational! We then had Post Box Eggs and Post Box Hash. Both dishes were fantastic and were clearly put together with a lot of care and attention. We also got some delicious cakes to take home.



The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable and we'll definitely be back soon. My wife believes it was the best food we've had in a long time... and we eat out a lot!! ;-)

Delicious lunch at the Post Box yesterday. Super menu, wonderful food, cake to die for and lovely relaxing atmosphere. The staff are friendly and yet professional, 10 out of 10 guys, may you go from strength to strength.

Absolutely amazing food at The Night Cafe last night. King prawn jambalaya was fantastic. Lovely ambience with chilled music. Took my baby and my 3 year old and the staff were more than accommodating. Definitely be back.

6 of us visited the night cafe last Friday 2nd & loved the cocktails & nibbles.

Good festive ambience with the smell of mulled wine & the music set just right so we could still chat.

Given 5 stars as there wasn't a thing you could fault, the staff were extremely friendly even when lots of people descended at once, tasty nibbles of nachos with chilli & a fab cheese board!! Would definitely recommend & will be visiting again soon. Thanks good start to the Christmas season!
