Wonderful restaurant centrally located modern & chic ideal for party bookings. Food was amazing Chef Gerry is very passionate even came out to tell us more about specials. Authentic Italian dishes just like mama makes lol. Spoilt for choice freshly cooked & full of flavour. Happy hour is extremely good value highly recommended. Plenty of choice for soft or alcoholic drinks, also wine sold by glass if required ideal as hubby doesn't drink. All staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Would recommend this restaurant if you like delicious real Italian food looking forward to bringing friends & family next time

Went last night for my birthday with my son. Can't fault the place. Food was excellent price was excellent. Staff were excellent and went above and beyond taking my son showing him the kitchen and letting him help a little bit. Definitely will be back. Thank you very much.

We had our second fabulous meal in a month here today. Superb service, personal attention from Gerry the chef, and a good wine selection to compliment our food.

We Visited last week for my parents 40th Wedding Anniversary. I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff who went above and beyond to make our family evening perfect. The food was delicious and there was a great atmosphere. Every thing was thought of lots of small finishing touches throughout the restaurant showing care had really been taken to create a great dining experience for all who visited.

Visited with a few friends the service was good and the food was outstanding the chef gerry came and talked to us which was a nice touch when i am back in the area i will definately be visiting again �

This place is the mutts nutts! The food was absolutely amazing and everybody in my party enjoyed themselves immensely!!

The calzone vesuvio is the Best calzone I have ever had and I have had pizza in Italy. Amazing dough and the filling was just the right balance between melted and firm. The other pizzas received rave reviews too. Staff happy to swap different types of pasta between sauces and the happy hour prices were astounding. 5 of us had two courses (starters and mains) plus drinks for less than £45. Great place, great staff and simply awesome food

Stumbled upon this place on our way home from a weekend of camping, the staff were all very friendly, and we were amazed by the choice on offer on the menu...traditional Italian and a good old Sunday dinner! The food was excellent, and really good value for money. Perfect end to our weekend away, added bonus that it was Fathers Day also!

Highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

One of the best italian restaurants I have been to. Gerry's (the italian chef) knowledge and experience was second to none and I couldnt have had a better experience. I would recommend highly to anyone.

My friend Gerardo is a well experienced cook because he knows very well the food and the recipes of italian kitchen tradition. So, I recommend to visit the Primo Piano and enjoy a good meal!

Meal was fab,, great atmosphere, staff were attentive.

If you haven't been, it's well worth a visit.

Lovely meal..went for lunchtime happy hour and it is defintely very good value for money..good choice and very good portion size...pizza was massive and very tasty.

Friendly attentive staff member who made a big effort with my 10month old son which is refreshing and sets parents at ease.

Had tea here on Thursday night excellent food, good choice on the menu, nice atmosphere, staff were friendly and the music was good too. First visit of many.

Had my birthday evening meal here and omg its delicious steak was cooked to perfection can't recommend the place enough absolutely lush and lovely customer service kids love it xx

First visit to Primo Piano really enjoyable experience with great food. Only criticism is that ice cream slides off slate boards when served with choc cake would be better in a bowl or plate. Hoping to go back for Sunday lunch very soon.

Been here 2 nights running this week and absolutely love the place, food is top class and the service is impeccable. If your looking for great food and service this is the place to go.

Ate here last night with 3 others. Absolutely brilliant. Food was delicious, the best I've had in Morpeth in years, great atmosphere and best of all was the fantastic, helpful, friendly and efficient service. Cannot recommend this place more highly, wishing you all every success.

Lovely well presented Sunday lunch atmosphere and staff very friendly

We had a meal last night as a party of 9 and our experience was OK. It has real positives but a fair few negatives and for me it just doesn’t stand up to the local competition. We were seated promptly at 7.00 (when booking we were told they needed the table back by 9 which we had no problem with). We had to go to the bar to buy our own drinks and ‘paid as we drank’ however they then also added the same drinks to the bill. We ordered starters and mains. The starters were lovely and very good value with beautiful pate and seafood starters. The mains however were a let down. Steaks and chicken dishes were lovely but the Italian staples of pasta and pizza weren’t up to much. One of our party ordered arabiatta and was served what can only be described as a child’s portion. Two of our party ordered seafood linguine but it was served with spaghetti. No apology or acknowledgement but worse for me was that I’d have chosen another option like tagliatelle but wasn’t given the choice. One seafood dish had 4 mussels on, the other 12. It’s just attention to detail and portion size that let the meal down. The meal was also served at 8.20 so quite a while after ordering and leaving a bit if a rush for them to have their table back. It’s a shame really as the food was tasty but when you have strong competition on your door step you can’t afford to make such errors.



One final comment would be that the front of house staff were generally very friendly and welcoming but the gentleman serving food who looked like he may also be a chef(???) with the moustache may want to consider leaving the front of house staff to serve. They were more than capable and very jolly but it was noticed on several occasions that he was taking food off the waiting staff mid service quite abruptly and ‘taking over’, It undermines the servers and made some of us customers feel Uncomfortable.
