Puregym Sunderland

This is a fantastic gym for young and old eveybody friendly the equipment is second to none highly recommended 💪💪💪💪👍

Not been in gym for a while, really enjoyed it. Plenty equipment and spotlessly clean. Looking forward to going next time makes you feel so much better.

Love this gym, best one I've been to so far. And open 24 hours loads of classes and able to book from a app on the go. Brilliant. Always clean showers are brilliant and staff are very helpful.



Only thing that I could say that could be improved is classes to start at 6am - 6.30am and have some classes on at 8.30pm - 9.00pm

I love the spinning classes and the instructors are always helpful!

I love PureGym I hadn't been in weeks with it being the holidays n having me little boy but hes back to school now went yesterday first time in weeks felt so much better am never disappointed love the classes staff is helpful would definitely recommend it. I keep hearing people complaining that they can not book classes because of the members haven't cancelled classes I think it definitely worth joining it's £16 month that's for classes every thing it's open 24/7 think it's worth every penny then there's no disappoint �

Haven’t been in over a year just started back up and enjoying it well worth the money loads of equipment do not waiting to get on and open 24 hours which is a plus so can get there at any hour of the day

Great no nonsense gym. Plenty of parking, plenty of space on the gym, open 24 hours so able to visit any time. Highly recommended

Great gym with a couple of top notch personnel trainers. Good range of classes, hopefully they'll have breaks between them again shortly

Great gym everythink you need even better its open all hours like to get my training done early

Good gym mixture of all shapes and sizes of people so nobody feels uncomfortable . Loads of room too gyms I've been to in the past you can be waiting a while to get on a treadmill or a weights bench etc and it cuts into training time. None of this here .

Great variety of gym equipment and very spacious . Good value aswell . Hard to get on equipment unless you go after 9pm or early morning .

Great gym with a vast variety of equipment to use. Good to know it’s a 24/7 as it can be pretty packed at times leaving you hanging around waiting on certain excercise eauipment.

Was going to take a shower after my workout but after seeing them, decided I would wait till I got home. It is a busy gym and I know the showers are well used, I just prefer not to shower in beside someone else’s hair and dirt.

Enjoy training here when visiting Sunderland, Parkings easy, nice big spacious gym. Only things (missing which is why I've not given 5 stars) is a TRX/open area because the studio never seems accessible and maybe use some of that open space with more equipment? Great gym and my above points are because I also visit other Pure Gyms around the UK.

Its an excellent gym at 3am but outside of those hours its way too packed. Perhaps it would be a good idea to manage the space more wisely and add more machines. Failing that you could add an upper level mounted to the wall for an additional area.

Great gym, has a good selection of equipment and it's immaculately clean however is desperate for more leg machines. Another different type of hamstring curler and leg extension also another leg press or two would be ideal esp at busy times...

No classes on anymore! Boring! Not everyone can get there first thing In the morning or after 6! Rethinking choice of gym even though I've been there since it opened, getting bored

Needed to use one of your Concept2 Rowers today as I had an online competition deadline and my Gym was closed so thought I would do a one day pass. The rowers are in a very bad state and poorly maintained. The foot straps do not tie tight, and the drag factor varied on all rowers was a max of 109 when it should be around 210..... The place itself looked amazing and i would probably go back for a weight training.

Great gym but cleanlisness is questionable.



Quite often see the staff dusting down but never washing the drips of sweat off the treadmills etc.



Should be cleaned more

They take months to fix machines the 10kg weights were stolen and pure gym never replaced them the music is crap and too quiet
