Please, please, please, don't let your children out. Keep your babies safe. We don't know what will happen with this virus or how it has mutated. We don't know what will happen to our children. All we know is that if they have to go into hospital, they are on their own. You cannot be there with them. You cannot comfort them. You cannot hug and kiss them and help them to feel less frightened. They will be surrounded by people who are dying and nursing staff who don't have time... to sit with them and comfort them. They will be surrounded by people they don't know. They will be terrified because they don't have you there with them to tell them it's going to be okay, and if they don't make it, they will die by themselves. You won't be able to see them because their coffins have to be closed to prevent the virus spreading. They will have to be buried with the minimum amount of people there to say good bye and you will not be able to get support from your families because you cannot be together whilst this virus rages on. Do not put your babies at risk. They rely on you for their lives, for their guidance and their safety. They may resent you for keeping them at home but right now, that's more important than keeping them on side. That may be what saves their lives 🙏

This mother's day, more than any other is so important. This is the year many of us will be unable to celebrate with our mums because we have to protect them. This is the year that as mum's of young children, we are fighting to protect them and ensure that they will see this through. This is the year that we are all beginning to realise that the 'stuff' we surround ourselves with is meaningless and it is the people who are really important. Please stop ordering from dominos pizza. My daughter who is high risk has been told that she has no pay if she doesn't work, along with several of the team that she works with, all also high risk. She is having to not only come into contact with the public but the manager on site is allowing them to be abused by the public because there are delays in place because of the amount of people ordering. He is standing on site listening to them being shouted at and doing nothing. I ...am disgusted that an international company who make millions every year would allow not only their staff to be treated in this way but that they wouldn't protect their more vulnerable staff. Please share and stop using them. They valuey the bottom dollar over their staff and in the middle of a pandemic, when these are the people keeping them open, this is just not good enough. Please share this post and make this common knowledge

Ladybugs and gentlefolks, I have a massive favour to ask you all. As you all know, I am a massive supporter of the Newcastle dog and cat shelter in benton and they need help. Because of the virus they are having to close their doors which leaves them in an impossible situation. The adoptions help to fund the shelter, and without the public coming in to adopt in the way they normally would, they are going to struggle for food and to pay their bills. I know its a big ask, but ...at these uncertain times, we all have to help each other out. If you can spare anything at all, please donate. If you can afford the extra few pounds when you buy your food, please pick up some animal food and drop it in. Even if you can't afford to help, please share this as there will be others who can.
