Stand in the Light original monotype is off to Dubai where it will remind the new owner of his roots in North East England.

Still Waters Run Deep is a large monotype with several layers of colour. I've updated my originals page in my web shop to show several views of all available work.

User

I've been taking photos of details of newly framed originals. This one shows some of the texture on Bridestones at Dawn, part of my #northyorkshiremoors series.

Stand by Me new large original monotype. More than a little artistic licence as the two trees reach out to one another!

I've got a new post up over on my blog. This one is about how I create a composition. There's a short video showing the before and after of the initial design to finished image. Hope it sheds some light on the creative process.

"Upstanding" original monotype shows one of my favourite themes: the little copse of trees on a knoll silhouetted against the sky. I found out this is called a 'tump' thanks to one of my facebook followers.

Only one left out of this edition of 50 etchings. Shepherd's Cottage is also on an @artangelspublishing card.

Getting tired of the cold and wet here in north east England. Here's to better days. Plough the Fields two plate etching now on my website.

User

Here's the finished etching as seen in yesterday's video. Well, the top half as it's too tall for insta. The Long Walk, Gibside. It's a national trust property in the north east.

User

I've been looking for snowy pictures to show you. Apart from my Christmas cards, this is the nearest! Enchanted Forest monotype.

User

This sea arch is now finished. There was one more layer of texture after this. It's one of the largest monotypes I've ever made. Will share the complete work soon.

User

Working on the biggest ever monotypes I've attempted. Here's a sneak preview of one of them - a detail of a sea arch at sunset. Join my email list to get a heads up when these become available.

User

I've been asking my subscribers what they think about this new print idea. I'm testing out canvas prints of my originals - I was pleased with how this one turned out but is it the sort of thing you would like in your home? In this article for my blog I write about the wide array of printing and framing options available to artists.

Signing my latest giclee prints today.

I need your help to select up to 6 new greetings card designs. Please like or comment on the images to help me choose!

Last in the @northyorkmoors series of monotypes. This isolated tree is treated to a really intensely coloured sunset. This and three others off to the Inspired By Gallery in Danby. . . #northyorkshire #rebeccavincentart #printmakingart #contemporaryprint #modernpainting #landscapepainting #sunsetporn #sunset #originalprint #artoftheday #instaartist #lonetree
