Resourceful Restoration - Now Closed Description
Furniture can be very personal, something you surround yourself with and see every day. It really is nice if it reflects some of your characteristics and makes your home a unique place for you to enjoy!

These are some of my favourite pieces I have done as Resourceful Restoration but unfortunately time is a limiting factor. I don't have the time to invest that I would like to and something has to give so apart from personal projects, it has come time to end. Thanks for everyone's support over the years. I've really enjoyed it all
A restoration piece from Durham fire services. Interesting job. Only the bell needed rechroming in the end
New leather tops for the tables from the previous post
A sentimental need for replacement leather on a nest of tables. Always great to see different items coming in for different jobs
A few items currently for sale. I still have a number of items in storage after the move but feel free to message me if anything takes your interest
A recent refurbishment commission
And another pic with a bit more going on!
A while since I posted an upholstery piece I think. The whole frame cleaned back and repaired as well for commission.
Found some time to get on with a personal project to keep the tv equipment tidy without needing a massive storage unit. Lots of ventilation still
Ready to go in Masham. Really nice day today and lots of new items here
For those who can't handle the suspense. I finished! Come and have a look at Masham Town Hall tomorrow. And don't forget about the breweries when you come through!
Don't know if I'll get this done in time for the fair on Saturday. I'll keep you posted!
Getting ready for Masham this Saturday. This piece I picked up already painted, just requiring a good tidy and wax
Any guesses? Back to metal polishing
And some more of my items at Kirkleatham Hall today
The stained glass fronted cabinet stocked up a lovely example of CC41 'utility' furniture showing it was more about rationing than being cheap!
It's been a while since I've done a fair, and all of the things in the pictures have sold pretty much but I will be at the Heartisan brocante and lifestyle fair tomorrow at Kirkleatham Hall. It should be a really good event and there are some great people going
A while since I've posted I know but here is a commission piece which hopefully people will see more of soon!
