Interesting experiment

I find it utterly abhorrent that our government seeks to hold scapegoats accountable for the penny pinching actions that have been forced by ever decreasing budgets imposed on county councils by unachievable spending cuts while government wages continue to soar.
I said years ago that something has to give with the cuts and closing of stations and resources. The same situation is being felt by military, police and Ambulance services across our nation.
The illusion of control b...y voting for our elected peers is simply that, an illusion of control. Whomsoever we vote for I feel is largely irrelevant as the government seems to do what it wants anyway. The tail is wagging the dog.
I don’t normally post political stances but I honestly feel our government is broken and is abusing the very principles on which our public sector was designed and built.
