The Penzance, Cornwall, UK based non profit 'Ronnie Richards Memorial Fund' charity comprised of a small team of dedicated unpaid volunteers was established in March 2011 after two years fund raising for other charitable causes.

The charity was changed to the 'Ronnie Richards Memorial Charity' synonymous with the annual 'Ronnie Richards Memorial Charity Six-A-Side Football Tournament'.

Our current campaign is fundraising for public access defibrillators (PADs) and its training in public places, communities and schools across Cornwall in the passionate fight against preventable unacceptably high out-of-hospital sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) death that claims 2, 000 people weekly in the UK – one person every 5 minutes. Shockingly and tragically one child dies daily in our schools.
