Went to celebrate a surprise birthday here. Staff were amazing and food was unreal. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone. Definitely will be back

We went for the first time Friday night for our wedding anniversary the food was lovely just the right size portions for us, the staff were very efficient and really pleasant will definitely go back

We have just held my best friends baby shower in the Lugano cellar bar here and it was fab. Every contact I've had with the restaurant to confirm arrangements the staff have been very helpful and accommodating. The barman done a great job today making sure everyone was served promptly as well as tending to any other requests. The room is lovely and I would definitely book another event here.

We celebrated our sons graduation here last nighr, food was amazing staff were amazing can't fault them.

This place has got it all: A very nice atmosphere, with lovely staff and really good food at reasonable prices.

The Sunday roasts are amazing, especially the lamb. Large portions and the staff are helpful, friendly, and great with the kids. Won't go anywhere else for a Sunday roast!

I booked the Cellar Room downstairs for a leaving party for 47 people.

From booking the room and organising the food, the staff have been amazing.

On the night, the food was delicious and we were well catered for. The lady behind the bar was so friendly and worked very hard serving.

I would highly recommend this venue for a party or occasion. Thank you again for a lovely night.

First time visit for food last Saturday night and certainly won't be the last, great friendly service but even better was the food! My steak was cooked perfect... Can't wait to come back �

First time visit for dad's 80th birthday total disaster! Was just three tables occupied and they had been served was only 3 in our party my mams scampi was extremely overcooked chips were dry and hard, my dad ordered a medium steak which was very rare and cold he asked for it to be cooked longer received another steak more rare than the first after the third steak arrived we had finished our meals having left most of it as were so sickened by then so my dad half heartedly picked at his meal. The poor waitresses were mortified and couldn't understand how the chef was sending out such undercooked food they apologised countless times at no point did the manager or chef make an appearance. Full marks for waitressing staff but will not return. 80th birthday ruined.

Pizza and pasta were both really nice, service let it down (hence the 3 stars)

Staff were polite, though it felt almost mechanical rather than warm and attentive (the opposite to The Bank - great friendly staff there). No one asked if we wanted a drink refill. Waitress behind the bar stood with her back to us, drinking coffee - rather than customer facing, she then put her coat on and left - no handover to tell the other waitress we were finished our meal, I doubt she noticed... the second waitress didn't even look our way, though walked passed us a few times. Two other staff members (on/off duty?) wandering around, no one noticed we had finished our meal, though we were the only table downstairs. We waited a while to catch a waitress to ask for the bill. The waitress then stood chatting to a waiter before getting our bill... Also, if staff go out for a cigarette they should wash their hands before returning to serve customers, basic hygiene.

My friend and I went on Saturday. Starters garlic mushroom Potato skins were fine. I ordered Carbonara and Pasta Bolognese for him. My Carbonara was bland so i swapped with my friend i had Pasta Bolognese whiich wasn't any better. I wouldn't go back. Service atmosphere were good but i came home and made some toast.
