food was perfect i orderd surf n turf it was on a tuesday night as it was cheaper the only thing the drinks are abit pricey but the food to die for staff good too

We were in last sunday we all had a mixed grill.. very nice tasty and steak was cooked to how we like it... yasmin said u need to work on your vegetarian menu before she comes back in .. all in all good food we will be back

We had our residents here from mandale care home and what an amazing afternoon had by all food fun and entertainment thank you all so much xxx

I had the beat the meat. 24oz of perfectly cooked and rested steak. Was disappointed when I didn't get a steak knife, then realised I could cut it with a butter knife. It was the most delicious steak I've eaten in years. Came out on a sizzling plate with mushys, tomato and onions. AMAZING! Couldn't finish 4 of my chips but that was fabulous. Keep up the good work.

Had a lovely meal with friends and family. Unfortunately my friend who had recently had a leg amputated due to cancer had a nasty fall on the way out as his crutches were wet after visiting the toilet. Staff were very helpful the same could not be said for an extremely rude man who made a very nasty comment! He was sat in the booth so shame on you, absolute twatÔøΩ

Had a fantastic afternoon with the residents of Woodside grange care home food was fantastic and we even won the bingo

So looking forward to the next day out x

Another good night at the roundel. After a nice meal we joined in with the in2 quiz which was a really good laugh even though we didn't win. Will definitely be back for the next one.

Party of 20 of in for my son's 18th he loves the burgers and we weren't disappointed. Majority of us had starters as well as mains. Friendly staff couldn't do enough to help. Well done to the kitchen staff all meals came out together and everything was lovely.

Decided a change of scenery so visited for food.. manager had a right face on her, very blunt and miserable looking, smile a little! Anyhow.. Ordered food, 45mins later it arrived, (mixed grill) asked for a medium rare steak and it was medium well and tough as old boots " a little seasoning and a little spray of oil would have sorted that problem" the gammon must have been in the hot hold for around 2 hours and the egg was like plastic.. It was brown on the bottom, hard yolk and absolutely rotten. So I explained to a manager ( not the miserable one) and she was lovely and sorted my complaint. Will not be returning. Your cooks need a good head wobble and your managers need to crack a smile.

We went for lunch today it was bloody awful, we got two mixed grills. A lasagina and hunters chicken.. all the meat tasted as it had been cooked in water.

Visited here as a party of 7 including one sleeping baby and one very well behaved 3 year old. Arrived at 8.30ish, and after a period of time deciding what to order, went to the bar. The staff member who served us said if we have children then we have to leave by half 9, to which we explained that we'd just got there, obviously there would be cooking time and eating time, so we asked what would happen if half 9 rolled around and we hadn't ate, and she said well we give a bit of leeway, but if the managers come down they'll say leave, I said to the other people I was with that if that's the attitude then we might as well go elsewhere. The staff member then asked how many people were in the party, upon hearing 7, her attitude changed completely and she said okay I guarantee if you stay the children won't be a problem on this occasion. So we stayed, ordered over £80 of food and drink between us. When the food arrived at 9.45 a well done steak arrived with blood pouring out of it, which is the equivalent of ordering chips and being served a potato. This was obviously sent back, and brought back medium rare about 10 minutes later.



The rest of us ate and whilst waiting for the person who ordered the delayed, undercooked steak to finish I took my 3-year-old niece to the arcade-like machines, which were still in use, no notice saying don't use after an agreed time, paid £2 which gives 8 goes, each go is a guaranteed win, so if you don't win it does not take a go. After about 10 minutes we finished all goes, only to be greeted by an obnoxious, rude member of staff, who said "leave now, it's past 10" we explained the situation that the fold didn't come until 9.40, the steak was undercooked, and the bar member said she guarantees it won't be a problem. She wasn't interested and essentially turfed us out of the place. Her attitude and demeanor confirmed what people had said before our visit, which is that the staff do not care about general customs and only care about their regulars. Will never visit again and hope for humanities sake that ever staff member moves to non-customer facing roles.



Avoid at all costs. Go hungry before visiting this place.

I got the oozy boozy burger....had to be boozed up to enjoy it...not to mention i got around 10 chips on my plate. The pints where flat as a fart just to top it off. I shall not be coming back anytime soon. This place would be good on tv...Gordon Ramsey’s hells kitchen. �= sack

Started off badly Pint of IPA was vinegar almost choked on my first mouthful Bar staff reaction well it looks like the IPA is still off No kidding Now feeling sick and mine and the wife's campfire combo' s arrive. Advertised it comes with corn on the cob neither have My steak is just a blob of fat and sinew and inedible. Feel utterly ripped off and will never return Mind you after a mouthful of what I swallowed earlier I probably won't make tomorrow Sadly an abysmal meal missing components only 1 of two steaks edible and a glass of poison served as a drink. And £28 lighter Spend your money elsewhere is my advice

Out with the family to celebrate a birthday Had a lovely game of bowls then thought we would try the roundel for a meal what a mistake ! staff have the worst attitude I have ever come across (apart from the young man that served the not so nice food) a lot of money spent on refurbishment shame some money was not spent on teaching the staff some customer service skills.

Ordered food at 9pm to be told kids have to be out at half 9, so said will leave it, then told they will allow it this time because there's 6 of us... food took till 9:25 to come then half hour later get moaned at and told we shouldn't be here! one of the meals wasn't cooked as requested twice, the attitude of the staff wasn't good at all. The 6 of us won't be returning I'm afraid.... Maybe worth reviewing you policy to state you can't order any food after 8:30pm if you have kids, may also be an idea to put some sinage up stating people will be kicked out with kids at 9:30pm
