The Royal Museum and Tea Room will be opening for the season before too long - as soon as the weather improves. We have lots of new things to see, including the focus this year on the 200th anniversary of Queen Victoria's birth as well as the 50th anniversary of the Investiture of the Prince of Wales. Afternoon Tea and a spot of history thrown in...come along and join us!

The new season at RoyalTeas is rapidly approaching and visitors will see a whole new lay-out with more space to see the 3,500 items of Royal memorabilia covering nine reigns from King George lll to the present day. This year will focus on Victoria, Queen and Empress with this year seeing the 200th anniversary of her birth. The museum and tea room has been cleaned from top to bottom and many new items of memorabilia added along with some explanatory signs around the place. Come and enjoy a home-made afternoon tea with unlimited hot and cold drinks whilst surrounded by our country's rich royal history. Read the books and magazines, hold and touch items that are over 200 years old! Play a game of Royal Bingo or colour in a picture - lots to see and do and every opportunity to relax or be informed....

Spot on it is. I love it. Anita likes the Royals I like the chuckles. What a place it is. Well worth a visit. From me to you.

User

Obviously I love it and Anita that opinion comes from 50 years experience unlike Rachel Shits Hopeless, The Unsinkable Molly Mamories and Brian the Vom oh who gives a rat's arse. I once went to their Republican Club and had verbal diarrhoea. I never like but they haven't been to Royal Teas so all's fair

User

Not had a chance to visit yet but can't wait. Keep up the fab work Anita and I just love your passion & drive. X

User

Loved this little gem of a place. The collection is fabulous and the owner Anita is a hoot who is full of interesting and funny stories. She had us laughing from start to finish and I can’t wait to take my mum there as she will love it.

User

I just want to thank you Anita for our wonderful visit to your museum and tea room. I came with our lunch club which Emma and I run and we brought with us members age 60 to 92. We also had our own kids with us that day both aged 6.

I have to say that all 20 of us thoroughly enjoyed our day. The kids loved it and all of us from Tow Law Lunch Club.

Our oldest member aged 92 wasn't going to come that day and she was so happy she did. She said thank you so much for convincing me to come I would have missed out on a brilliant day.

The afternoon tea was beautiful. The staff were very pleasant. And you were your usual enthusiastic and entertaining self. We had a good laugh and were very interested in your talks about the royal family.

We can't wait to visit again and can't thank you enough for all you do for us throughout the year at the lunch club.

Keep on being you Anita you are amazing.
