The Heaton store on Etherstone Avenue in Newcastle is really good. The staff have great customer service, they're really helpful & friendly.

Thank you so much to the bakery team at Sainsburys for once again supporting the St. Teresa's Primary School summer family barbecue - and Luke Watson for sorting it for us! The donation of bread buns really helps us to deliver a great event to our families and raise funds for our school.

I had a lovely Big Breakfast Yesterday Morning, I had the Big Breakfast before

Hi, I just wanted to say that I visited Sainsburys super store in Newcastle tonight. A male worker (dark hair and glasses) was re-stocking the fridges. He was one of the happiest guys ive ever met and really made me smile. He sang along to all the Christmas songs and couldnt do enough for everyone! He is an absolute credit to Sainsburys and people like this should be recognised at this time of year!!! I hope this post reaches him! Thank you x

Best supermarket for miles....everything you need including Tu clothing range under one roof

Always a pleasure in my local supermarket friendly staff awesome lunchtime lunch always go with sister

Lovely store, most of the staff are nice. Shelf stackers always hard at work.

Good full breakfast and filter coffee. Just a little on the costly side though. Free WiFi was useful.

Willl someone stop the endless stream of kuds running around the cafe. Apatwy fromthe irritation is is dangerous.

Lovely bright store and friendly staff. Unfortunately there appears to be less and less free tasters in store. You use to be able to test enough free foods to be able to skip lunch but no more. C'mon Sainsbury's, get back to where you were. 😁👍

Today the customer service attitude was terrible. Thank you Helen for pointing out my mistake and not letting it go. I wasn't having a go at you (generally I have had a bad day) but you just didn't give in. So again thank you for really not helping!

Shooing is fine but cafe appalling. Uncooked fish cake with a frozen centre to be told that it had been tested!



Front staff were OK but how hard is it to cook a fish cake???

Reminded me when Sainsbury's first opened, not 1 aisle was fully stocked, more empty shelves. The staff are a credit, helpful as ever but obviouly some things out of their control and should be addressed by management.

Sainsburys admit they trap foxes and have them shot dead by pest control. I will never shop in poorman's Waitrose again.
