The staff are always lovely, pleasant and helpful. They are very efficient and conscientious. The food bought you might pay a few pence more than some supermarkets, but the food is delicious

Thank you Sainsbury’s for providing my class with 10 pumpkins of various sizes! I called this morning and a staff member put them away for me and when our caretaker called to collect them, he was given them free of charge for the children. Brilliant customer service from Sainsbury’s again!

I visited the store on friday night and my daughter ran into a steel gurder. She had burst her nose, chipped her tooth and hurt her knee. A lovely lady with brown hair (attractive) that works here saw the commotion from the cafe i

Upstairs and rushed to help us. She gave us tissues and made sure my dauther was well before leaving. She was lovely and i wanted to say thank you whoever you are.

I just visited Sainsbury's bishop Auckland with my little boy. He suddenly felt ill and vomited everywhere, all over himself, the shopping, the trolley and I caught the remaining in my hands!!! (quick thinking!).Luckily a male member of staff was in the aisle and I asked him for assistance. When he saw what had happened he was amazing and helped us immediately, cleaning my little boy up and making sure he was ok. He arranged fresh clothes for him and nothing was too much trouble. Huge thanks to all of the staff that helped us today in store. Customer Service was exceptional and cant thank them enough.

Hi, I’m a member of Teesdale Weardale Search and Mountain rescue Team. On Friday the Friday 2nd March we were on Blue Lights to attend the rescue of a Belgian truck driver that had been trapped for two days in snow drifts at Yad Moss in High Teesdale.

Our vehicles had been working 24 hours a day and enroute to the expected arctic conditions we pulled into your Bishop store to brim the fuel tanks on our MR vehicles.

Your staff were simply superb. Seeing our blue lights and the size of the que they quickly found a route for us to the front and opened up pumps that had been closed due to technical difficulties so that we could draw fuel.

While we were waiting for the tanks to fill, your staff then made us all large coffees, teas and hot chocolate that we could carry and drink on the way. We had all been rushed off our feet that morning responding to this rescue so a hot drink went a long way, for a number of us it was the last hot drink before we set off up Teesdale on closed roads for the rescue attempt.

On behalf of the team members there I’d just like to say a public Thank You, it was really nice, thoughtful and if you’re about to step into an arctic blizzard, a large hot coffee goes a long way to fortifying you for the experience about to come.

Cheers, Dave Wigham

Love the clothese in Sainsbury especially the Admiral range. Its excellent quality and rember it from the 70's.

Avoid the cafe. Its horrid. And not a patch on the Darlington Sainsbury's cafe.

User

Love that I can shop & buy clothes love the quality and lot for my age group large car park staff are always friendly.

It's ok. Like the wider aisles but not always got stuff I want e.g. Rolo corner yoghurts. Cafe fine but no trolley storage now. Who wants to coffee first and shop after? I like to save the nectar points and have recently bought a tassimo coffee machine with them. I'll go again.

The person in charge of the urinals needs to up their game ,broken again. The last time this happened around 2 months ago it took at least a month to be repaired.,they don't smell as bad this time but it needs adressing .I cant believe that a company such as Sainsbury's can't repair urinals quicker than they do .

Stopped off for a cuppa on our way home after visiting the lakes on our motorbike.

Was very surprised to see how small their pots of tea are and even more surprises to see the thimbles they use for the milk.

Come on, people want a proper cup of tea not afternoon tea and cucumber sandwiches.

I'll find a proper cafe next time.

User

Staff are lovely in the cafe but they do need to be a little quicker with the food . We were sat waiting a good half hour for our lunch yesterday ! Food is excellent however service is very slow X

On a visit to Sainsburys store on Tindale retail park Bishop Auckland this morning I was shocked and amazed to see a store member who was stocking a display with freshly baked Ciabatta rolls drop a couple on the floor, and a colleague pick them up and put them with the others on display.

I approached the staff member and said you've just picked 2 rolls up off the floor and put them on the shelf, she laughed as she picked up 2 random ones and said oh yes it was these 2.

Amazing.

I won't be buying any fresh bread from their again.

Some of the staff are terrible worst service ever

User

I arranged a click and collect today and the service I received was both impersonal and a really poor service. This was the first and last time I would use this service.Working in the same industry made me realize the service provided by other stores is superior compared to that of Sainsbury's in St Helen's Auckland. This incident occurred at between 3.50 pm and 4.15 pm which is how long it took actually be served.
