Just a heads up as THE season approaches! 🐱 + 🌿 not always a good idea! This applies to most seasonal plants with berries. Also Poinsettias and Lilys and greenery sprayed with glitter :(

When something goes missing does it ring a Bell? ... ask the dog! This poor little pooch bit off more than she could chew :(

It's surprising who you bump into while out and about! We had a lovely chat with Peter Wright (the Vet from The Yorkshire Vet series) 😁

I dont mind taking my work home with me but this little Pumpkin has just ran into my house! Irvin Av Area of Saltburn. A bit wet and muddy feet also ravenous. No collar so will be coming to work with me to be scanned. Please share.

We popped into the surgery today to register our little rescue dog Eddie. I've known James for many years, since he had his practice in Marske and was thrilled when I found out about Saltburn Vets!

James had Eddie checked over and advised us of what we needed to do.

The staff where fantastic- so kind and welcoming- they are obviously passionate about what they do!

We couldn’t ask for a better vet and team in the practice we had the awful decision to put our beautiful girl to sleep before it came to this James helped us understand what was happening what we could do to help her not only making Darcie feeling safe in his hands but making us feel so at ease . Everyone went above and beyond to make a horrible time go as smoothly as possible we can’t thank everyone enough .

Took my reactive shihtzu in to be shaved, the nurse was lovely and put me at ease and didn't make me feel as tho mine was the only naughty dog! The cut she did was great and I will definitely be returning if Nathan lets me as puds decided to nearly take a chunk out of him on leaving �

Today Archie & Lola had their first visit to Saltburn Vets. We had a friendly welcome and was very well looked after. James Haddow took the time to explain exactly what was happening with Archie's legs and I finally feel I have found a Vet who realises that my dogs are part of the family. Over 12 years ago he was the best vet for our German Shepherd Max and now I know my 2 dogs are in safe hands too... thank you for opening this practice!

They were so helpful and understand and James took the time to explain thing to my son who's autistic, making him feel relaxed and knowing our cat was in safe hand's.���

So glad James has opened in Saltburn, he's a fantastic vet, the best I've ever been to with any of my dogs. The surgery is fantastic and light and the receptionist and veterinary we nurse we saw were lovely. We went in with our Bulldog Dave who'd got an abscess from fighting with one of our other dogs. James dealt with it immediately, drained it and Dave was home by teatime. Thanks James.

My dog has had eye problems for such a long time (more than a year). My mam visited these vets with her dog and mentioned the problems my dog was having. He said he would be happy to see him. I live 50 miles away but came here. Such a nice bloke and was lovely with my dog. He has tried another treatment which my vet never even offered. Very lovely surgery. Clean, efficient, polite and caring what more can I say! 5*

James was fantastic, and very patient with my temperamental little dog yesterday. Staff are friendly and I had the opportunity to have a good look around. Well designed and thought out practice for clients, patients and staff. Id certainly have no reservations about leaving my dog, should he ever need inpatient care. Very impressed!

James has been nothing short of outstanding with our old lass Deefa. Had a lump on her leg which was massive, 875g in weight if I remember correctly once removed. She was walking within 24 hours of having the op, far better than she had done for a long while. Her leg has only got better and better too. Happy owners, happy Jack Russell and I think one happy vet since it's also doing far better than he imagined also coz of the severity of the lump. Thanks James, superb work and will be recommending you to anyone!

James has been my vet for many years and both him Tereena his wife and staff have always been so approachable, actually explaining what's going on and why and what treatment is needed. They are kind yet professional. One of my dogs caught meningitis (apparently rare for a dog) if it wasn't for James quick thinking to get a Brain scan within 24 hours and the fluid drained I would of surely lost her and she lived until 16 years old. I'll be forever grateful

I am thrilled that James is back! Took my Cockapoo Buddy on Friday to his new practice and we were given such a warm welcome, James took the time to talk about the issues we were having and explained everything in detail. James and his team are so friendly and professional, I left feeling reassured that my beloved Buddy's care is in very safe hands, thankyou so much James and team �

Fantastic vets, plesent calm waiting area, James is a fantastic vet and takes the time to explain and talk through everything and has helped alot with both our cats and receptionist very helpful too!

Fantastic surgery, well thought out for the comfort of our pets ! The welcome from reception is perfect. James Haddow and his team are brilliant, as ever - Can't recommend this practice enough. Exceptional service.

Although the outcome with my cat today was not what I wanted Mr Haddow was kind, considerate and very very honest. He gave us the facts and did not encourage any expensive ineffective treatment gently and compassionately letting her go. Would highly recommend
