The new refurbishment have been tastefully done. Restoring the old ceiling a lovely touch.



The extra seat services what an ingenious idea. Screen 2. Your order taken at your seat. The nachos were so tasty �. Love the waiter service.



If eating at the cinema bugs you, then don't go. I love munching my way through the adverts. Alcohol can be consumed to. We didn't part take but may do next time?



All in all a super well done to all those who made this happen. Will be back very soon. My friends and family will be highly recommended to come here for whole experience.

Where do I start? I've been a regular at the Savoy for years and have never had a bad experience there. The food is fantastic; easily the best pizzas in the south west - far tastier and cheaper than the likes of Domino's - and the staff are amazing. They're the friendliest bunch around, always polite, up for a good laugh and always willing to go the extra mile. The fact that they also show great films is actually just a bonus to the great food and great staff!

We visit the Savoy frequently & booked to see the much awaited Star Wars film. Enjoyed a drink in the bar before and thoroughly enjoyed the film despite it going off for around 10 minutes the staff were lovely & very apologetic & had things sorted in no time. Highly recommend!!

We had my daughters birthday party here on 3 December. Excellent customer service; the staff were really attentive to all our requests in the restaurant and cinema and they even went out of their way to make sure my other daughter with allergies was catered for. The food was very good. Would definitely recommend.

We had a delicious meal, the food was cooked to perfection. The waitress was really lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. She even offered to take a photo for us. Then we enjoyed Jurassic World in the new leather, reclining seats. A perfect evening. Thank you savoy!

These small cinemas have heart, and this one has one of the biggest! I love it's intimacy, compared to all the big Multi Complex cinema's. You will guarantee my custom for as long as you are there.

The pizzas are great and the service is excellent nothing is ever too much trouble.

Staff are really friendly, restaurant was really nice (the pizzas are excellent) and it has an actual charm to the place rather than just generic enormous multiplex.

Six weeks or 8 weeks I don't know but it's going to be a good seats and more cinema is it going to be more see more bigger are they going to make him more things more seats new ones

Really enjoyed watching Book Club in comfy armchairs & loved that we were able to take our drinks in with us. The Staff are very friendly, polite & couldn't be any more helpful & patient with us seniors whilst dealing with our Loyalty cards.

Looking forward to our next film.

Myself and some family members had the meal deal which was excellent value and delicious food. I have visited the cinema many times but never the restaurant and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! The staff were all amazing. I would definitely recommend.

I love this cinema. I cannot wait for it to re-open as my friend and I have really missed coming here. I admit it was in desperate need of a refurbishment and I look forward to seeing it in November. The staff are always helpful and friendly. My only complaint as a disabled customer is that I wish they would install handrails into their toilets as the toilets are very low and difficult to get up and down from when you have mobility issues like myself as there are no disabled toilets. Please consider this in your refurb plan it would make my life much easier as I am sure other disabled customers would agree. Coming to the cinema is a lifeline for me as I don't get many opportunities to socialise. Thank you Savoy. Long may it continue.

Great job with the refurbishment! Screen and sound quality is amazing, plenty of leg room and the comfiest cinema seats ever! No longer do you have to go out of Penzance to go to a decent cinema, we have the best in Cornwall right here! Looking forward to the next phase now.

First time ive been to the cinema for a few years and have to say the refurbishments are excellent. Comfy seating and clear views wherever you sit,also booster seats for the little ones. Great pitcure and sound quality. Wont leave it so long to go again.

Fantastic refurbishment of the Savoy in Penzance, the restoration of the original ceiling is a big success, it looks amazing. The new seating is wonderful, well tiered and lots of leg room, as well as high seat backs (so even the tall ones can have a comfortable cinema experience) Booking seats online in advance works wonderfully when going in a large family group, and the merlin movie magic cards are a great way to save about a third on admission prices. Looking forward to seeing many more films at the Savoy.

Did the meal deal which is really good value. Sat on the sofas at the back of the screen which give a great view. The staff are always really friendly and helpful, plus the food was delicious. The beef chilli certainly has a nice kick to it.

Brought my grandson in on Saturday to see Peter Rabbit. Loved the refurbishment. Seats lovely and comfy. He was impressed to have a cup holder, as an 8 year old I suppose it's a must. Was just right for his cup of pick and mix. Great friendly staff

Whilst the cinema itself needs to be updated a bit, the service at the restaurant is superb. Couldn't have asked for better food either. Absolutely done to perfection :-)

Nice small cinema and friendly close to town centre. Seats could do with numbers on end of the row as people were getting confused on which way seats were numbered.

Me and my family came in last night to Watch Transformers the last knight. Staff well very friendly as usual. Yeah anything I did not like was the screen The chairs were so uncomfortable . I know you are working as fast as you can to get screen 3 finished. Hope it's going to look great.

The staff are helpful and friendly. However that is where the nice experience ends for me and I often travel to find another cinema due to the terrible conditions. Stuffy and smelly with dirty broken seats make viewing uncomfortable and detract massively from enjoyment of the film. In my last two visits where I hoped conditions had improved I struggled to stay in the large screen auditorium and had to keep moving around due to the discomfort, only to find the seats were coming away from the fixings. Perhaps visitors find it quaint but this soon wears off if you are a keen cinema goer and only results in taking custom elsewhere.

Sounds great to me I find cinemas sound to be bad the seat comfort and massive lack of air conditioning has made me never go to the cinema. I went to a cinimaplex in Cardiff and loved it. Sounds like just what Cornwall needs along side a primark and yo sushi and wagamamas. Cornwall needs to move forwards with the rest of the UK. If the cinema was better quality at an affordable price I would choose to go there instead. Competition is a good thing it pushes up quality and value for money.
