Just thought I would do a little status regarding what's in supermarket shampoos and why it's so important with your hair and extensions to use at the very least Sulphate free! Everything we sell in the salon is free of all the below and cruelty free!
Sulphates - are an ingredient in shampoos and conditioners that turn them into a thick lather. They dry out your hair extensions and your natural hair as they strip away the natural oils. They are also known to strip colour, ca...use frizzness and give you a dry scalp. Stay clear from: ammonium lauryl sulphate, sodium laureth sulphate (SLES), sodium lauryl sulphate etc.
Parabens - theses are a preservative used to prevent bacteria growing in shampoo and conditioner and giving it a longer shelf life. If it has the ability to kill living organisms what do you think it's doing to your hair? Theses can also over time be absorbed through the skin and can mimic the hormone estrogen causing an increased risk of getting breast cancer.
Sodium chloride-this is basically salt which will dry out your hair leaving your hair and scalp itchy which can lead to hair loss.
Alchol- also has a drying effect. Look out for ones with "prop" in the name such as: isopropyl alcohol or propanol as theses are the most concentrated.
Silcones- theses are basically a type of plastic to make hair feel better then it is. It will cause product build up making your hair look greasy and weighing it down. An example to look out for is Dimethlcone.

I have been to scissor sisters now on 3 occasions and have gone from a brunette to a blonde. My hair is in fabulous condition and I now have a style that looks as good when I wake up as when it has been done. I go to Georgie and she is fantastic, I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have been going here for a number of years now best colour, cut and styles. Before finding this beauty of a salon I would flit from place to place, now I won't go anywhere else. The girls are fantastic and make you feel right at home.

After feeling I never wanted to get my hair coloured at a hairdressers again, these girls restored my confidence. Had my 1st appointment here yesterday for a colour correction and I was really nervous, new salon etc, Sally totally put me at ease and explained everything. The whole experience was fantastic, the girls are not only excellent at their jobs but also so friendly and welcoming AND you get biscuits with your cuppa!! I look forward to my next appointment very much!

Had a Stem Cell treatment 4 weeks ago and can’t recommend it enough! This is by far my fave treatment! Hair still so smooth an easy to manage and mine can usually be quite difficult! Highly recommend this treatment and the Salon!
