Reflexologists worldwide are celebrating and participating in World Reflexology Week, raising awareness and promoting the far reaching health benefits of reflexology. Reflexology is a popular and relaxing holistic treatment based on the principle that reflex points on the soles, tops and sides of the feet are connected to corresponding areas throughout the body. Our monthly taster sessions have been a staple part of Serenity for over 10 years now, and are still as popular as ever. Walking in from a cold and rainy day, Sara welcomed us. Noticing what a calm, warm and soothing atmosphere it was around us, everything I would expect it to be. We were booked in for an Indian head massage and a facial. We were brought oils to smell for our head massage and they all smelt divine. Sara brought me a pot of green tea which was beautiful as I waited for my sister to have her treatment. We were made to feel at ease the whole time and can honestly say it was a wonderful experience I can't wait to come again and try a variety of treatments. I would recommend My Serenity to anyone. Well done for being so fabulous xx

Today I attended my first ever workshop. It was the tarot workshop that was wonderfully presented by Richard Cuthbert. I had such a fun day and enjoyed the workshop very much. I really hope a follow up workshop is considered as it was fantastic and would love to continue with my learning and development with the cards. Richard was brilliant and such a great teacher. Very patient, clear and made me feel much more confident with the cards.

Huge thanks to My Serenity therapy, I'm looking forward to the future workshops I have already booked with you!

Sarah was really accommodating and welcoming, particularly as I was late for my appointment due to traffic problems. She explained everything to me and the treatment I chose (shoulder and neck massage with Indian head massage) was excellent and very relaxing.

On a breezy, chilly June afternoon my friend, Kath, and I walked into a warm and welcoming reception area. We were welcomed, completed a health form and then taken to the treatment rooms which were wonderful. Everything was explained and then I had the most relaxing aromatherapy back massage and facial. Thanks Kirsty for looking after me so well and for your skills. It was a real treat Kath - thank you.

My favourite place for relaxation, the weather was miserable, wet and cold yesterday, but as soon as you step through the door, you are transported to another world of bliss, warmth and absolute serenity. I had reflexology and Kirsty was brilliant, my feet were a treat after they had been massaged and Kirsty explained the areas I had interest in. Wonderful, thank you.

I had a Reiki treatment with Jonny. Room had welcoming feel and was really warm which I was worried about as I took extra socks with me! Was welcomed warmly and professionally and had an opportunity to discuss the treatment before and after which was appreciated. The treatment itself was amazing. I had 3 tasters with Jonny on Tue 23/2 ( Indian head, neck & shoulders, Swedish back & a facial massage) I felt that I was floating high when he finished. The whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. I felt completely at ease Jonny was very friendly & welcomed me. I was give 3 different sets of oils to choose from. Which was heavenly. I felt that all of his attention was focused on me which made me feel extra special. On other occasions of being at serenity I have received the same lowly welcome. Had my first visit to serenity on Saturday, I was booked in for reflexology and an Indian Head massage. I had Jonny. He made me feel very welcome and relaxed. The inside is so cosy and the temperature was spot on. I've had problems in the past with cold salons where I just couldn't relax, but with serenity I felt like I was at home. Jonny explained the treatments and talked me through his findings. I wasn't rushed and even had a couple of minutes nap ☺. I have already started recommending it to friends and family. X

Great Swedish massage with Jonny last night feeling really loose and strong this morning :) (despite the epic exit and drive back over the moors from flooded Guisborough in fact it was just what I needed to help me cope with road rubble, springs and waterfalls not to mention crazy drivers aquaplaning all over the place ) phew !

From the moment I entered the building I felt totally relaxed, at home and at ease,.this was my first time here and first time having reiki& crystal therapy , I found it a wonderful experience& have already booked my next session! The staff were very profession but in a way that made you feel totally at ease and welcome, would highly recommend! X

I expressed that I was looking for quite a firm massage and Jonny delivered! He really worked out all my knots and muscle tensions, unlike any masseur has done before! I would recommend Serenity Therapies to family and friends without hesitation.

Due to a very busy couple of months and no time for exercises, at all! my back got tense and painful and my posture just had collapsed, so I finally decided to have an Aromatherapy Oil Massage at Serenity. From Kat's magical hands session my posture was restored and my back and neck just felt nice and revitalized (literally!!). I felt like new!! Thank you so much, Kat, for putting me back on track! Highly recommend !! :-)

Another outstanding job done by Jonny and Kat today at Serenity Therapies , go at least once a month and Jonny knows my back better than myself , if need a nice relaxing massage to a localist injury Jonny will suit to your needs .
