Shaj Tandoori Restaurant

This is my favourite Indian restaurant, I absolutely love the food here its first class! Fantastic value and friendly staff I have been going for years and it has never faulted I have never had a bad meal, they deserve every good comment they get! Very happy customer and I will be going back soon for my fav tandoori mixed grill yum!!! ❤️

The food (and kingfisher lager) is always spot on, can't fault it at all �

Staff were very pleasant and helpful . Food was lovely. We took our family who were here on holiday and they loved it. They also cooked me a lovely mushroom omelette with chips and salad as I can't eat spicy food. Top marks from our family.

Excellent restaurant and take away, South Indian garlic chilli, vindaloo hot with red keema pilaw and garlic and onion nan. This is a must for any Indian food lover. Staff are very polite and very friendly.

Beautiful food, best chicken saag I’ve had!

Brilliant people and really enjoyed out chat whilst waiting for our food. Felt really welcome and wish we had eaten in rather than take out.

A jewel in the crown ... absolutely excellent restaurant right on the sea front. Never disappointed!

The only reason they don't get a 5 star, is I had a beautifully tasty meal and fantastic service.

But all our meals, 12 of us, not really any spice to them, mine was a medium Dopiaza, was milder than a Korma. But tasty �

Love their chaana chaat, overall good place in Newbiggin to eat out.
