Stop letting small setbacks get in the way of your long term results.
Forget about anything negative fast and remind yourself of the great things you have accomplished so far.
Don’t focus on the 2lb you gained one week and let it ruin your results going forward when you have lost 30lbs overall and you are doing amazing.
... It’s so easy to focus on negatives and over exaggerate negatives which leads to giving up. Instead you have to force yourself to forget about negatives quickly and think of the positives instead.
Forgetting about negatives fast really is an important skill in seeing long term results.

Enjoying exercise is essential for long term results.
If you go to the gym and you are bored out of your mind it won’t be long until you give up.
If you don’t enjoy going to the gym on your own find small group training sessions which incorporate weight training.
... You get the benefits of weight training whilst you have fun training with others.
Instead of dreading the gym and your hour long sessions drag on for what feels like a week, you may just find yourself looking forward to training with your new friends and the 45 minute sessions fly over before you know it.
You will even find you push yourself harder in a group and your training is more effective.

Another amazing achievement this week was Lucy getting the best time in Great Britain in her age category doing 500m on the ski erg and the 5th best time in the world in the 500m ski erg online rankings in her age category this year. Her amazing time was 1 minute 51 seconds.
This girl is super fit and and an inspiration and she doesn't even realise just how fit she is.

📢📢NEW 8 WEEK RECORD HOLDER📢📢
Eilidh Orr has manged to lose an incredible 42.5lbs in 8 weeks breaking the previous record held by Dean Curry by just 1/2lb.
Deans amazing record has stood for 7 years and I didn't think it would ever be beaten but Eilidh with 8 weeks of hard work, commitment, dedication and consistency has manged to set a new record.
... I couldn't be more proud of Eilidh. Not just because of her amazing weight loss but because she is finally believing in herself.
Eilidh is overcoming lots of mental barriers. Instead of putting herself down and thinking she can't do things before she even tries she is now way more positive and everyday she is growing in confidence. This month she is even second on the leaderboard for the 500m ski erg competition and a few months ago she wouldn't have attempted it in case she failed.
Its great seeing Eilidh get fitter and stronger by the session and the 42.5lbs loss is absolutely incredible. But Eilidh finally believing in herself like everyone at training has done for months is the biggest achievement. Everyone at training knows how fit and strong Eilidh is and believes in her losing weight and its great to see Eilidh now believing in herself.
Keep up the amazing work Eilidh. Still a long road to go yet for your wedding. I know you can do it, your friends know you can, Phil knows you can do it, everyone at training knows you can do it and NOW YOU KNOW YOU CAN.

Congratulations goes to Hutchy the snowflake ❄️ and Kate for winning January’s 1 minute press up competition.
Hutchy won with an incredible 61 press ups in a minute and Kate won with an amazing 35 in 1 minute.
Both men and women had to be on their toes and chest had to touch the ground.
... Well done to both of you.

You know it’s a good workout when clients write help on the steamed up window to see if anyone from outside will come save them💪💪💪

Lots of hard work in todays HIIT sessions from all the groups👌
7.30pm session all hitting the red zone on myzone in the photo💪💪
And it may be the middle of winter but the 6pm session made the gym into a sauna and managed to steam up all the windows and mirrors.
... 90 on 30 rest definitely done the trick today👍

Half way in to the first TRANSFORMin8 of 2019.
There is a good chance there will be some new record holders.
We have 25lbs down in 4 weeks. Could they beat the current record of 42lbs in 8 weeks?
... Then we have two people who have lost 5 inches off their waist in just 4 weeks. The record in 8 weeks is 5.5 inches.
And I have more weighins tonight to look forward to.
So far this has been the best group to go through the programme.
Maybe it is the prizes of £100 for most weight lost and £100 for best before and after photo thats helping motivate them that little bit more.

Set yourself fitness goals such as completing the Great North Run, Total Warrior or rough runner and set yourself targets in the gym such as deadlifting more or learning to do a pull up.
Giving yourself another reason to train other than weight loss.
