Our sheep love all of us, but they love the boss the best. And she loves them right back, as you can see in this lovely video. Good Morning Calf Friends!! Here we have the 3 wise monkeys. Kylie cow, Star bullock and Dickie. Star, Dicky, and Kylie get on really well and are always together. Kylie is a Dexter who was quite shy, now she is quite a confident and trusting girl who likes to be made a fuss of. Star is a Hereford with curls to die for and a charm to match. His character is much like his brother Duke and he loves his Oaty biscuits. �Dickie is a Limo and will grow into a big boy. He is quiet..., reserved and very gentle. Good morning CALF friends!! We cut, turned and baled a hay field yesterday - after the hay shortage last year we really want to stock up for the colder weather! It was all go ... more details on that later! Afterwards, one of our lovely volunteers Philip came to get some work done and he finished off by giving treats to our residents. They recognise him and wait (fairly) patiently for their turn. Even Pickle, the most assertive of our goat friends behaves himself (quite) well infront of Phil. Happy Saturday CALF Friends!! Peace, love, harmony. There just isn’t enough of it. Not at work, not in the news and sometimes not in the home either! And we think that’s no way to live! Let’s put a stop to it this weekend and spread some Saturday cheer. Why not take a lesson from “Sprout”, one of our lovely Herdwick sheep, and nuzzle each other!
