Wow, what more can we say!! We got married here on Saturday 7th July and it was absolutely amazing. The hall looked stunning, thanks to Graeme Ellwood, Kathryn Hume & the staff at the civic. All of our guests complemented the quality of the food which was delicious. We honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Special thanks to Stuart and Andrea who made this happen, you were both brilliant, listening to all of the bridezilla requests, nothing was too much trouble for you. Thank you so much �

We got married here on June 25th. I have to say the service we received was excellent. Andrea and all of the other staff did an excellent job. I have since and will continue to recommend to civic to all my friends and family. Thank you so much Andrea. For doing such an amazing Job. X

Top bait by Paul and his team; both kitchen and front of house. Lovely lamb dinner with possibly the best Yorkshire puddings I've bought for a while, massive bit crispy and fluffy inside. Only comment is the cauli was soft and I like mine firmer.

The food is great ,menu great ,staff friendly and courteous and above all great place to eat

Often eat here food is fantastic service is spot on prices are great and beer is good .... love it.

Myself and my husband had our 30th Anniversary Party here 21st October 2017 and it was very nice and a big thank you to Paul and Andrea , and the food we had was brilliant as well .

I’m usually in here setting weddings up... tonight I attended for a meal with friends... all 9 of our meals were beautiful!! Definitely be back.

I have hosted fund raisers, my only childs wedding reception, had many an esvening meal and Sunday lunch, attended funeral teas, enjoyed many party nights and charity functions. The staff always go the extra mile. The food is fabulous. To be honest i dont know anyone that can compare with quality, quantity, friendliness or pleasant surroundings. Keep it up and well recommend x

Had a fabulous time everything went very well and the room was amazing what a fabulous wedding it was shall never forget it .

Great night good bar staff and doormen enjoyed the whole experience. And the groups were good lol

Food was lovely, the best homemade chips we've eaten for a long time. Friendly staff and quick service. Highly recommend

Came in tonight at 8pm for late tea and food was excellent staff are amazing highly recommend xx
