Fill in defect books and all work tickets competently

It’s tarmac so yes it does test you but it’s a good secure job and when they are quiet we have all the work you want to keep you banging the hours in

Class 2 tipper driver required
Class 2 license,full driver cpc,digital tacho card essential. A quarry skills/MPQC card is desirable but not essential. Over 25 for insurance purposes.
Must have 1 years experience in driving a tipper,on aggregates, muck away or tar.
... The applicant must have a can do attitude and be prepared to work well alone and as part of a team.
You will be driving a P cab scania 410 16 plate. Please do not apply if you only drive autos as this is a manual vehicle.
Driver must take pride in his work and his vehicle which must be kept clean inside and out and also greased on a weekly basis.
Full ppe provided,on going driver CPC training provided,company pension along with 28 days paid holiday per annum.
Any negative comments will be removed.
Good job here for the right candidate.
Wagon based in Alnwick but can maybe move closer to Newcastle for the right driver.
Ideally be ready to start a week on Tuesday.

2 experienced tipper drivers required for mon,tue and wed night shifts on silverlink shifting spoil onsite

Night shift and occasional day shift driver required to drive trucks based at coxhoe,Benton square and alnwick. Ideally you will be based in the Newcastle area.
You will be well experienced in delivering tar to sites,being loaded via the road planer. And also general quarry and muck shifting duties.
You must hold valid class 2 Hgv,Tacho card,cpc Driver’s card and also quarry skills/epic card.
... This would suit someone who didn’t necessarily want to be out every night,but wasn’t going to moan if there was a full weeks work as we generally don’t know what the week may hold until a Monday.
I think a retained fee each week would be the best idea for a driver who fits the above.
If there wasn’t enough night shifts then applicant would be expected to jump on day shifts.
