Unfortunately there had been a manufacturing fault with the frame of my glasses. A lovely lady called Lynne called me back about the fault and said that they could replace the frame. I went straight in today and I was straight out with my glasses within 15 minutes. They replaced the frame and refitted the glasses and then gave them a good clean. Amazing service, well done guys.

Me and my partner has been going here for years, today Andrew examined our eyes, He told me exactly what was wrong with my eyes in great detail. Bearing in mind Im 34 and had glasses from the age of 4 and only ever been told i'm long sighted. There was a name for what I've got and I found it fascinating to know that its not normal for the way I view things and also why I couldn't see what others were seeing when watching a 3D movie. The only thing I struggled with was finding some broad wide framed glasses, seems the Deidre Barlow glasses are in fashion this year.

But all in all I it was great, Top customer service and Andrews enthusiasm is great. I hope he receives recognition for a job well done :)

Total rip off merchants : they make you believe by recommending that you need new glasses based on your prescription results when clearly (excuse pun) that your older glasses show no significant difference against the new data they've produced ! What a sham .. I shan't be going back to them again. Wasted a good hour to get my money refunded. They had no choice as I had all the proof required.

The retail manager I dealt with I found very unpleasant in attitude, simply no apology and totally adamant towards her own busy needs rather than show the slightest empathy towards her customer.

I'm not one to complain but I shan't be paying out £160 for something that isn't an improvement against my current spectacles. Watch out I say and check that your new glasses are a prescription improvement compared to your current one's you're wearing.

I feel better now that I have got that off my mind !

They don't get one star from me as they are less than poor based on the management ! I'm a retired manager and wouldn't ever treat people as they were scum !

This week I have received terrible service from this branch. I have been a customer for 14 years and have never had such poor service at the fault of this branch. My monthly lense mail failed to arrived and after enquiring why I received a snotty tone from the lady on the phone about not attending a check up. It unfolded that Specsavers had failed to send me a check up letter, yet they still refused to send my contact lenses until an appointment had taken place. Holding the lenses I pay for and are not getting due to a mistake in their behalf. Unfortunately, the branch could not accommodate an appointment until two weeks time and yet again refused me lenses until the appointment. I informed the lady over the phone that by the time the appointment came around my lenses would be 2 and a half weeks overdue - not healthy for my eyes I wouldn't imagine - yet this did not seem to bother the lady! I was then promised a phone call the following day to further action this and of course it did not come. After calling myself and persuading a gentleman to allow me a set of lenses I was then told that I had to collect them, yet I am sure I am paying for a 'lense mail' service. All in all, terrible customer service, no customer loyalty, customer made to feel small and the health of customers eyes not a priority! Disappointing!

It's like a cattle market for eyes. Try a local optician and you'll see the difference. In my eye tests i was in and out in less than five minutes, they did two tests and that was it. At my local opticians i was there a good twenty minutes and he did half a dozen different things. The place also had a little character. This place is awful.

Absolute waste of time going here, ive lost count the amount of times ive been to sort 2 pairs of glasses out. they are very very friendly but the end product is very very poor if you have to keep returning to sort various issue's, from too strong a persciption to loose fitting of lenses to arms/frames on numerous occasions. Just this weekend ive been Saturday Sunday And now Monday. Definitely wont be using ever again when I get my glasses back again. One lost customer.
