Busy day, wet day, tiring day, early start day, but top notch result for 7000 people (give or take).... It’s not everyday you get a 6ft Dove on your stage!

Production managed great event for the VW team at Himley hall through Dubs collective and their fantastic event. Thanks to T2 staging , Paul, Kev Kinchin, Tom Cullen, Julie, MC, Stevie the stage, and local crew ! We had a blast. DAS Audio Aero, with Avolites, Clay Paky, Martin and only top level kit throughout.

So this was the Richmond 2018 set up. We are rightly proud of this event and the Richmond family!
We have supplied for 19 years to the event (year 1 was In house themselves) with I think, 17 of those years using DAS Audio equipment of one model or another. (RF,ST,Compact1, Compact2 - you name it, it’s been there at some point!). It’s grown a little over the years as you might imagine.
... Consisting of 2 ‘back to back’ stages across approx 80x 60 mtr with countless great bands and a huge two day busy event. Oh and with lovely weather included FOC!
This year we designed using a bespoke ‘LCR’ flown system utilising 2 x XTA control with 4 ins and 7 outs used, for full control on RS485 protocol (DASnet).
24 Aero20A, 12 Aero UX218A, 4 Aero12A front fill. 8x DAS audio Road series wedges, (8 Martin Le) 4x DAS Aero LX 215A subs covering both drum fills with 2x Aero12A on each. 2x Aero LX218A subs to help out some guys in the ‘acoustic’ tent.
DASnet across 38 devices from 2 x DASnet Rack 99 systems for power, signal, control and monitoring plus Yamaha CL3, Allen and Heath iLive, desks all on Dante network. Smaart Live V8 analysis.
Avolites TT2 lighting control with Clay Paky, Martin, GLP, ADJ/LEDJ/ eLumen8. With a total of 80 or so lighting fixtures. PHEW!
This sounded and looked fantastic all weekend and operated flawlessly throughout. This is all an ‘in-house’ DAS Audio etc. production to keep full control of every aspect running on the event.
Many thanks to the teams involved (organisers, support and techy’s!) as a massive effort went in to this to show the people of Richmond what the DAS Audio systems can do (erm .... again!)
