Staying in Granary cottage at Springhill farm and it is absolutely fabulous love it , under floor heating great kitchen and fantastic decor. A view of Bamburgh castle from our window and the town of Seahouses just down the road .
Stayed in the motorhome a few times now and can't fault this site. Well kept grounds and very clean facilities. Lovely site wardens. Also read the 1 star review and couldn't believe my eyes. There's a minimum noise policy after 11pm, any problems ring the site wardens, their number is all over the park. We've seen them deal with problems straight away. Keep up the good work spring hill, we will be back in march
Stayed here last week for 5 days, what a great site, we will be back time and time again. The caravan pitches were a really great size, facilities lovely and clean, really good hot showers and friendly staff.
Really loved that you can hire fire pits, so nice sitting out at night looking at the great views round a fire. Also a great base for exploring Northumberland, can’t wait to be back, thank you all for the great job you do xx
Spent 4 days here and caught it whilst the £10 a night offer on. Such an immaculate clean site. Great showers and washing facilities.
Perfectly situated for seahouses, Alnwick, Bamburgh, craster...fantastic location.
Would highly recommend and will certainly be back.
Our 4th year visiting and the site just gets better and better. Everything immaculate and had a fantastic holiday once again. Can’t wait to return.
Me and my 2 friends took up the £10 a night offer for 2 nights for my birthday weekend, however the weather took a turn for the worse and we all had difficulties getting here along the A1 with the snow, rain, flooded roads and wind. But we all made it.. the wind was so bad we couldn't put up our awnings which threatened to ruin the party weekend.. but the amazing staff at Springhill saved the day by allowing us to use one of the empty pods for our gathering... after a very sad and emotional week that myself and partner had had they rescued the weekend for me... We're stayed here a few times but thanks to their amazing generosity we will definitely be back... I can't thank you guys enough...
Lovely stay in Wigwam 10 , clean warm and on a perfect setting overlooking the and tucked away very romantic
I just love it here, this is my 3rd visit & I have had an amazing time every time. Been by myself with my dogs twice & came with my friend this time who I met here the first time I came. The wigwams are so warm & cosy and the firepits are fantastic! Lovely walks & the beach is amazing - fab boat trips round the farne islands so loads to do. The site is really clean & well maintained I can't fault it. Can't wait for my next visit!
Great stay in the wigwam, it was very roomy and comfortable. Very close to the private wigwam facilities. The kitchen for the use of wigwams only was well appointed with all you needed to cook or prepare breakfast or other meals. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Great site just outside of Seahouses. Not too commercial and on a working farm and there is a little shop . Pods ( wigwams) and camping/ tourer/ motor home pitches are to a high standard. Idea base for Northumberland coast and only 1 1/2 miles to the beach. Well recommended. Pods have heating, raised beds and wifi. You just need a quilt and pillow. Toilet shower block is 20 yds from the pods . Communal cooking area and BBQ,s are free for pod users. We have booked to come back in 3 weeks.
Fab site. Amazing views. Great clean shower toilet blocks. Fab communal kitchen
Still here now in 3 wigwams.12 of us....having a camp fire and snacks. Amazing weekend. Had a run into seahouses this morning. Fish and chips a few pints in pub then a nice walk back. Would day come back and recommend to all....
Excellent. Very well kept, and landscaped. Everything you need, dog friendly, great facilities, and awesome views. What's more just half hour walk into Seahouses.
Best campsite we’ve been to, the grounds are immaculate and the pitches are huge. The shower facilities are top notch, clean and well maintained. Staff are super helpful and friendly. The views from the site are breathtaking, great base for exploring Northumberland coast. We’ve loved every second of our stay and are sad to be leaving. Will defo be back again
Absolutely LOVE this place! Been coming for four years now either with the tent or wigwams it’s like coming home!
A very well kept facility. The team have worked their socks off in this awful weather. Thank you
Springhill Farm is where we are now. We're in our motorhome, and the site is lovely. Showers and toilets are fine, and this morning we walked about 5 miles to Banburgh and round the rugged rocks, into the rustic and gorgeous castle. Many interesting things to look at, and a nice coffee n cake in t'cafe. We got the bus back to Seahouses and enjoyed a drink in the local. Walked the mile and a half back up the road, quite sleepy now, but photos will follow.
Just returned home today after 8 nights in our touring caravan , we stayed on hard standing pitch which was massive , plenty of room for caravan , awning and car. Facilities ok , clean and tidy which is main thing for us , lovely views round by cottages unfortunately not for the caravaners, my one criticism is “ the look out “ which is hired out to large groups and on both weekends we were there they were extremely noisy , and sat on their balcony which basically over looked caravan , having said this we didn’t actually complain which I suppose we should of , all the staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful especially when our jockey wheel gave up on us and we ordered a new one to be delivered to site , lovely area to visit .
Not very good for us , we have a large dog which we need to put up awning for and the pitch we were allocated is like a lake. I did mention st the time of booking we needed awning for dog. As the awning is now only any good fir drying said dog off as the ground sheet is floating. I’m sure people will find this site ok as we might have had ground been better drained. We will be leaving early should weather be dry enough to pack up. Will have to try again when weather better ... ground dry. Have to say site staff very pleasant especially under difficult conditions.
Hi as you are Aware we have left your campsite we were a party of 4 caravans. You placed us on a grass pitch which could see was soft when we arrived.
Obviously the weather is the weather and we cannot do anything about that, however we asked if you could provide us with straw so we could soak up so of the excess water from the awning space and were told that you needed to speak to warden. Which to our dissappiontment nothing came of it.
secondly our electricity was continually off and on this was causing quite a bit of upset having young children to keep calm as the dark set in, also our cooking equipent is all the correct amp usage so there no reason for this to happen. We found it extremely hard to cook which made tea time last the whole night trying to feed everyone.
Our stay was unpleasant due to the weather but to have paid £84.00 to stay on the site and not be able to was quite dissappionting. But to top it off was the lack of support from your team to help with our pitch and the lack of electricity supply to the caravan. I would like to request part of our money back as a kind will gesture from yourselves.
look forward to your reply, kind regards Mrs Walker
