When we took over St Aidans a revamp was most definitely in order. We wanted to create something beautiful our future guests would enjoy time and time again.
With a lot of hard work, we achieved what we had set out to achieve. A bright spacious dining area overlooking The Farnes and Bamburgh Castle. A relaxing haven to sit, converse and enjoy all Northumberland has to offer.

We just spent a week at St Aidan’s and it was superb. The hotel was lovely and we had a great view across the sea to the Farne Islands from our room (Staple Island). Rob was a great host, very accommodating and friendly. We had a meal at the Bistro on our last night and that was superb too. Looking forward to a return visit.

We can't recommend this wonderful B&B enough. Rob and his team made us feel so welcome. We stayed with our little doggy our room was lovely with amazing sea views. Breakfast was brilliant. Can't wait to visit again. Thankyou St Aidan's ���

Love coming to this place. I’m gluten free and don’t do eggs and St Aidan’s is very accommodating.

Just spent a lovely overnight stay here recently. Rob ( the owner) met us in the car park and made us feel so welcome. Our room was the Megstone on the ground floor and was decorated in lovely muted shades with white shutters on the window. We watched the sun setting over Bamburgh Castle from the bay window in the lounge. And the breakfast was excellent! Will definitely be back here.

I was lucky enough to win an overnight stay here & what a treat it was! We booked to spend our 20th Wedding Anniversary here & absolutely loved it! We were greeted by James & Diana upon our arrival & stayed in the new Walmes annexe which was so lovely & quaint with stunning views out to sea of the Farne islands & Bamburgh castle in the distance. We rarely get to spend quality time together as a couple as we have two young boys but that evening we had the pleasure of having the bar to ourselves, we sat in the snug with fabulous views & helped ourselves to Hadrian Wall ales which we wrote down in the honesty book-loved this, it was our first time doing this & was so easy! The background music was a real pleasure too! Seahouses is a gorgeous little seaside town with fish & chip restaurants, gift shops, quaint pubs & a lovely little Harbour, we had the most amazing sunset on the evening of our anniversary which was just the icing on top of an already fabulous cake! The image will stay with us forever! Next morning we were treated to breakfast, I chose smoked salmon & scrambled egg & my husband chose the full English, both were excellent & served with tea or coffee, toast & a vast choice of juices, there was also cereal, preserves, & fresh fruit on offer, we were sad to leave & hope on our next visit to meet the owners Rob & Tegan, thank you so much guys, we will be sure to visit again xxx

Form the Offset Rob set a proper tone meeting us in the car park offering to help with the bags, a friendly greeting , very relaxed the decor of the hotel and rooms was nice and we felt comfortable quickly, the views from the rooms are stunning we even had nesting swallows outside our room - a real treat. We ate in the Bistro that night the service was excellent and the food was of a good standard. We will be returning.

Fantastic place, great hotel with excellent friendly hosts! A must visit!! We took our dog Denzil and he loved every part of the trip especially the beach!! Thanks for a lovely stay! Xxx
