Today in church we were talking about poverty in Gateshead. Child poverty is a large part of this.. this week the latest figures show that 42.4% of children live in poverty in Gateshead. That is 9063 children.... want to help tackle this? Can we work together?

Excellent visit to Windy Nook Primary this morning and lots of probing questions about what it means to be a Christian in our community . It was amazing how many connections they had to our church ....helping Rob in the garden, Beavers and Cubs, attending birthday parties in our church hall , wheelchair dancing ....and going further back, attending the Toddler Group. Well done years 3 and 4 you were awesome!

Join us at 10am on Sunday as we launch a new way of giving to our church. Our Parish Giving Scheme champion, Diane will be there as well as Rev Danie to answer any questions.
We also have our new card reader ready to take Contactless donations at the end of the service.
All ways that we can improve the financial stability of our church so that we can continue with all the things that we do. #excitingtimesahead #allthingscomefromGod
