Key Stage 1 Spanish Club have learnt about Christmas in Spain. They tasted Spanish Christmas sweet treats (turrón and mantecados) with a mixed response! We would like to wish everyone 'Feliz Navidad'!

Pupils at our French link school Ecole Sainte-Croix in Noisy-le-Sec were delighted to receive Christmas cards, letters, chocolates and decorations from our Year 5 and 6 pupils. We look forward to hearing back from our French friends in the New Year. Joyeux Noël et Bonne Année!

Year 5 had an amazing evening of star gazing with Sunderland Astronomical Society on Friday 14th December . Our space topic was brought to life looking at the craters and mountains on the moon and views of Mars amongst other amazing sights! This was followed by a very informative presentation about space from Paul Meade. A huge thank you to all the astronomers who helped us have such a great experience!

Look who came to see Y3! They were ALL on the Good List!👍👼👍

Just saying ... When you sneakily record your child's Christmas play......
It is likely a child in that school is at risk of abuse, has been removed from a dangerous and chaotic life and has been placed into Foster care or with adoptive parents.
We then post a picture with the child in the background. A friend shares it, the abusers see it and know the child's school.
... This child then has to pack up belongings move to a new home, new school, new carers, new life, the previous carers are also at risk along with their own children........ All because we needed to share it on fb, just follow school policy, they don't tell you not to record because they are miserable. They tell you this to protect vulnerable children 😘😘😘 Copied and pasted as we think this is truly important
