Well I’m not even going to wait until the end of our visit. This place is pure luxury with everything catered for and a great attention to detail. A fantastic place to come back to today after our walk to Sycamore Gap in every different type of weather possible.

Had such a warm welcome yesterday with the fire lit and a beautifully decorated, festive house.

5 Star beautiful property, great location, you must visit.

We had such a special weekend here, thank you Lorraine and John for an utterly luxurious and outrageously comfortable stay in your stunning cottage - so many thoughtful extra touches, a warm welcome and wonderful peace and quiet. Can’t wait to return!

Superb accommodation in a wonderful location. Lorraine and John have thought of absolutely everything in the cottage, and all to a very high standard. There is so much to do both locally and further afield which all adds to this being a first rate place for a holiday in Northumberland. We will be back ... definitely in fact, as we have already booked for 2019 ...

Spectacular venue, stunning vistas and wonderful hosts- who could ask for more! X

We had the most fantastic weekend celebrating our wedding on their land and staying in the very snazzy cottage. Excellent bath and the bottle of fizz was a very welcome addition. Thank you

Just returned from a bank holiday at St Oswalds Farm, such an amazing place. Every detail catered for and when you think there may be something missing, you read the very handy guest welcome pack and find it’s right under your nose. Absolute luxury and in an ideal location. The owners are very friendly (as are their two dogs) and accommodating. We arrived to fresh cakes, a boiled kettle (shame we don’t drink hot drinks) and a bottle of fizzy juice. Robustly setup for self catering and with Hexham just a short drive away, you are in the restful countryside, with facilities just a stones throw away.



Will be returning without doubt.

Heavenfield Cottage is wonderful! Easter week was wet and snowy, but the cottage was so warm & cosy to come home to, with underfloor heating & wood burner. Everything has been so carefully thought out, superb bathroom, very well equipped kitchen, excellent TV & wifi, very comfortable bedroom, good range of DCI Ryan novels! And plenty of extra things too - such as a hamper of local produce including delicious Northumbrian cheese, local eggs. And Easter eggs! Thank you John & Lorraine! We will be back.
