St Peter'S Catholic Church, Biggleswade Description
St. Peter's Church is a flourishing Parish, also serving the local villages and Catholic communities of Sandy, Potton, Sutton and Dunton. It is an active member of the Churches Together in Biggleswade. Journey in Faith is a weekly study, prayer and shared learning group, which everybody is welcome to attend (Mon 7. 30pm - 8. 30pm). Our choir rehearses on Monday evenings 7. 15pm - 8. 15pm and before the 10. 30am Mass on Sundays. We have a Social Committee which holds fundraising events throughout the year. There is a Carmelite Group which meets 4th Wednesday of the month. Please see the website for details of all events and activities.

Tuesday 27th November at 7.30pm: Our Study Day officer from Chesham will be leading a Study Evening about Pope Francis’ Encyclical AMORIS LAETITIA (The Joys of Love). We would love you to join us to discuss and understand this beautiful directive.
Tuesday 11th December at 7.30pm: We cordially invite you to our Annual Advent Candle Service followed by Fellowship and festive refreshments served in the back Sacristy (so n...o stairs to climb). There will be a Christmas raffle in aid of Keech Cottage Hospice. We look forward to welcoming you and hope the weather will be better than last year.

Northampton Diocese will be hosting a weekend for those men considering the Vocation to the Priesthood. This will be held at the Cathedral from Friday 14th December – Sunday 16th December. Amoris Laetitia is the Pope’s Encyclical Letter on Marriage & Family Life.The Speaker is on Bishop Peter’s Council for Marriage and Family Life.She was in Rome for the Synod on the Family.
