St Saviour'S, Shotton Colliery Description
St Saviour's is a community seeking to worship God, get to know him better, and share his love and good news with people in our local area.
We do this by gathering together on a Sunday to worship, meeting in various groups through the week to pray and read the Bible, and coming together with the wider Shotton community inside our buildings and elsewhere.
Our weekly services and events include:
SUNDAY at 8: 00 - SAID COMMUNION SERVICE
A quiet service of Holy Communion with Bible readings, prayer and a talk, followed by refreshments
SUNDAY at 10: 30 - PARISH COMMUNION
A service of Holy Communion with music, Bible readings, prayer and a talk, followed by refreshments
1st SUNDAY each month at 10: 30 - ALL AGE WORSHIP
A monthly, shorter, interactive service aimed at all ages including children. Baptisms may take place during this service.
MONDAY from 8: 30-9: 30 - START THE WEEK
A drop in for parents, grandparents, with refreshments, and toys for any accompanying toddlers. Clergy are available to chat about weddings and baptisms.
WEDNESDAY at 9: 15 - HOLY COMMUNION
A quiet and reflective service of Holy Communion
THURSDAY from 18: 00-19: 30 - CHURCH LADS AND CHURCH GIRLS BRIGADE
