Sadly a large, un-neutered male tabby cat with white socks and a white chest has been brought into us by a member of the public this morning, he passed away in an accident some time last night/this morning near Heaton road.
He had no microchip or collar, so if you know who he belonged to, please contact us. He is being held at our Heaton Road surgery.

Sadly an un-neutered, solid black male cat has been brought into us by a member of the public this morning, he passed away in a road traffic accident last night/early hours of this morning near Byker bridge.
He wasn't microchipped but was wearing a silver reflective collar with a bell, but no tag.
... If you know who he belonged to, please contact us. He is being held at our Heaton Road surgery.

We are asking the public for any information of a black, neutered male cat that was handed into ourselves today. He was found around Welbeck road in Heaton. Appears in good health however does appear to have a flea allergy, causing a loss of hair around the back legs.

I have 2 white kittens needing a good home 1 male and 1 female, they are around 5 months old and a little nervous came in as feral kittens frightend, hissing and spitting but are lovely now. They have both been neutered, microchipped, flead and wormed, if you are interested or know anyone who is contact Sarah at the surgery on 0191 2578543 I would like them to go together but I may separate if needed and they are being re-home through a charity so an adoption fee is required

Used this practice in Tynemouth and Heaton for 30 years . .vets are changing but always lovely and great compassion. Peter Hamilton was the best vet ever , miss his humour and smile .

They were brilliant with our dog as he came to the end of his life, so gentle and compassionate with him and us.

My lovely little boy went to sleep here for the last time today, the vet was lovely and he looked so comfortable and happy with her. She treat him with so much respect and like he was her own. Thank you for everything you did for him x

I would like to thank Arlene and vet nurse, sorry I don't know your name, for coming out to Ben when he took a bad turn, when our vet of nearly 8 years Neil Murdoch of Metro Vets, didn't have time to see him. Arlene came as soon as she could, we all agreed it was better for him to let him go. Needless to say my other dogs are now registered with Strachan Vets. Thankyou so much Arlene for your kindness and compassion.

I lost my boy today.........i have been so distraught I can't remember the name of the amazing lady vet who treated him with the up most dignity and respect right till the very end and helped me come to the hardest decision off my life. Things are obviously still very raw but i know that in time this amazing ladies kind words and compassion will give me a little light in the dark. Thankyou xx Heaton road branch

Helped my dog straight away phoned and appointment given to go straight up friendly loving team who got him back on his feet thank you �

Got my cat neutered a couple of months ago, all went well. Very caring, friendly and helpful staff. Thank you

Fantastic, friendly and reliable service. I've been there a few times with my two dogs (one dog is extremely nerevous than the other) also I've been there when my hamster had babies. I wanted the mammy hamster to be checked and the babies gender and also to be checked, they understood that the babies weren't a 100 per cent used to human contact at the time, they were great with the babies hamster and the mammy hamster.



And with my two dogs, every vet I have seen have been amazing with my two girls from vacantions, when they have been poorly and to being neutered. I plan to go then again with my youngest dog to be neutered when I have the money to do so.



And my mum took her male rabbit there to be neutered, again they were great with him even when he wasn't eating after his operation, he made a full recovery and is a happy rabbit again.



Always, a great experience each and every time and I wouldn't go anywhere else. And I recommened to Strachan to everyone :)
