Went with our young BC Logan and had a great cup of coffee and cake in the garden at the rear

Visited the cafe for afternoon tea with my grandparents. As they don't eat much they were able to make two portions into three with a couple of extras. Service was great, the staff are lovely and the scones are beautiful! Definitely recommend it!

Tea for two and shared a tea cake and cinnamon toast with my daughter, was delicious, definitely go back , a bit of background music would have been nice.

THE PEARL OF YARM : A traditional unique shopping experience, as a local I never take this shop for granted,you can always find a last minute gift,have early coffee/ breakfast afternoon teas, lovely lunches, everything is home made and well presented.This all comes together with an amazing team of friendly helpful staff.

Our favourite place to go for a lovely treat. Fabulous food and drinks, wonderful atmosphere with professional and extremely polite staff. Highly recommended

Lovely lunch with my Daughter in law and baby Grandaughter. Staff are very accommodating and I loved the Crayfish with a Marie rose sauce in a pitta bread!

Just been and got cake to take home. Chocolate cake was moist and delicious but the Nutella cake was to die for, thank you

I've always loved this little shop. It is an Aladdin's cave of interesting and quirky items that are ideal for gifts, especially if you want to be sure you're not getting someone something they already have! Staff are always very friendly too.

I love going to Strickland and Holt .There is so much to see . It is like an Alladins cave. The coffee shop is the icing on the cake. No pun intended. The cheese scones are gorgeous as are the cakes. Used to work in Stricklands as a Saturday girl back in 1976/77. Loved working there, especially at Christmas.xx

Good food and the staff are very helpful , great for the children plenty of toys to play with .

Nice place. We had breakfast. The breakfast sandwich will definitely keep you going all day. A small criticism is it needs a bigger plate.

Also with menus on the table waitress service would be nice as the food is not particularly cheap.

We did not have a cake but they looked absolutely amazing.

Love the shop lots to see! Cafe nice, only had a coffee & cheese scone this was cold & bit dry , bit disappointing but pleasant enough , I will go back .

Love this quirky shop, some of the staff at the front till in shop need an attitude adjustment or training in customer service. I purposefully now go to the till at the back. I know im not the only one who does this
