This lovely group of ladies are doing an 18 mile walk for the Charity Mind leaving from Sue's Cafe to South Shields and back. Hot drink will be waiting for their return

Toasted ciabatta now available at Sue's. Here's a glimpse with the mature cheddar, ham and red onion ciabatta and the meatball, mozzarella, sundried tomatoes, and olive ciabatta. Other options available including vegetarian 😋😍💪

Well I'd like to say that it was a pleasure to have the tall ships visit Sunderland. Fantastic event which made me even more proud of my home city. We went down to Sue's Café for lunch today. I had cheese and onion quiche with salad, Steve had jacket potato with cheese and Gemma had jacket potato with tuna mayo with salad. It was lovely and fresh so needless to say we ate it all. Well worth a visit, staff are all very friendly and helpful too.

We stopped off for coffee and bacon butties mid point in a cycle ride. Great food and friendly banter. Is now going to be a regular stopping off point when we cycle on the south side of the Tyne.

We love coming to Sue’s cafe. Good food great prices and when you have to share a table because it’s so busy, you make new friends. What’s not to like?

Their hot drinks were very welcome on a cold Sunday November afternoon! Been a few times and the food and drinks are excellent. They really make an effort and the staff are lovely.

Loved it ever since she opened the cafe we have now become good friends with sue and the workers sue loves my mam as she calls her big dee in da house and my dad terry xxx
