Nestled in Barnard Castle in the spectacular Teesdale countryside and imprinted with the historic values of the Dales and our close-knit community, Teesdale School is a place where traditional values of kindness, respect and hard work take precedence.
Our school teaches over 600 children, all of whom we know individually. We know not just their progress and grades, but take pride in knowing who they are; their aspirations, ideas, worries, talents and dreams. By understanding not just what our students can do, but who our students are, we can truly bring out the best in them, helping to champion their ambitions and nurture their talents.

Last night, our Sixth Form Rotary Interact group hosted another fantastic quiz night, in a bid to raise money for Help Refugees. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event - in total, we raised over £350!

Our fantastic girls' football team recently received their new kit and we think they look brilliant!
Our Year 7 students had a fantastic day exploring Houghall Campus earlier this month to find out about the interesting courses they have on offer.
Students learnt about animal care, climbed trees and even went pond dipping before being shown around the working farm and the equestrian centre.

After lots of positive feedback from our revision evenings, we would like to offer parents the chance to attend our ‘master class’ evening on Thursday 29 November.
Parents will attend a lesson in either mathematics, history or French to experience the teaching and learning strategies that are used in school.
