Happy Sunday all.
Nipped back today, to the kitchen we installed this week, to measure up for a splash-back and some additional display cabinets on the blank wall.
Emma and Mark chose a handle-less door in a rich cashmere gloss. Accented with Graphite Fleetwood wrap around panels, to match the worktops.
... 50mm thick panels have been specially fabricated to be used as floating shelves.
Neff and Franke appliances have been installed and the client re-used their existing washer and fridge-freezer.
Amtico flooring to be installed this week, so I’ll return once it’s decorated and post more pics.
*** P.s.. I was cheaper than 3 DIY stores and the one that sounds like a bird ***

Good Morning all.
Here's a few pics of a recently finished kitchen, a media centre and a near complete 'copper deluxe' kitchen..
The completed kitchen furniture is finished in striking silver grey gloss, fitted with aluminium Gola handle profiles and Tipon push open system on the wall units and pantry cupboard.... Luxurious Silestone 'Snowy Ibiza' worksurfaces lighten the space. To add further light, a tinted mirror was installed behind the hob and the Neff appliances complete the high end look that the client wished for. Luxury vinyl parquet tiles were installed, to tie in with the period feel of the home.
Light grey gloss bespoke media units were installed at a renovated bungalow in South Shields. The client asked for the units to be precisely the same width as the alcoves, so filler panels could be avoided. 'Drop-down' mechanisms were fitted to the large single door of each unit and the media cables sit neatly inside.
Finally.. The nearly complete kitchen has been installed for a Builder friend of mine in Hebburn. He has carried out all of the prep work, ready for the kitchen to be installed..... An industrial copper theme was the main aim... Bringing together the glazed brick wall, with the two tone cabinets and copper Gola handle profiles. The stunning Dekton 'Trilium' worktops take this kitchen to the next level. Copper pendant lighting over the island, along with other copper accessories have produced the exact result the client was hoping for.

Finallly got back to this stunning kitchen that I recently completed in the Great Park area of Newcastle.
This project was part of a high end new-build, along side Galaxy Construction Ltd. This is the third time that I’ve worked alongside them now. 😇
... The clients brief was to create a stunning, open plan family kitchen. They wanted a mixture of both modern and traditional elements, fused together.
The handle-less shaker style doors are finished in stone, with rye oak accents. The work surfaces are finished in an exotic granite.
All appliances were Neff and the must have Quooker boiling water tap, was also installed.
A truly marvellous space.

*** A memorable trip down South ***
Here's some pics that were sent to me today, from a recent kitchen installation, in the picturesque village of Oxted (Surrey).
My wife's cousin had asked me a while back about the possibility of getting myself and the team in to carry out the work, which I dismissed initially, due to the distance...
... After a few more persuasive messages, I came to the conclusion that it might be a challenge... Challenge accepted and a few weeks down the line, the job is complete and looking fabulous.
The old dark and dreary oak units and dark worktops have been thrown out, in favour of a much more contemporary style.
A mixture of white and silver grey gloss has been used to great effect. The German 'Gola' trim handles, yet again come up trumps. The Statuario quartz worktops look stunning, yet understated and the light Amtico flooring and tinted mirror behind the hob give the room a lovely feel.

*** TERRIFIC KITCHEN TUESDAY ***
One of my finest projects to date. Please scroll through the images, to see the before pictures.
Mr & Mrs D have a fabulous period style Victorian terraced house, but were struggling to see how they could transform their currently dark kitchen into a room they could really be proud of. A room worthy of entertaining people..
... When I suggested removing the huge chimney breast and knocking the current door and window, into a large bi-fold door they were worried that the expense would outway the results. I assured them that they need not worry and they basically put total faith in my judgement.
The building work commenced and the story began to unfold..
Fast forward to today and we now have a stunning space, that the client is totally in love with.
A simple shaker door has been used here, to great effect. The hexagonal chrome handles really accentuate the door. Silestone quartz worktops have been installed, along with a chunky grey oak breakfast bar. The luxury parquet floor also compliments the colours of the kitchen.
The oven and hob section has been 'slotted' into place via a custom made recess and the tinted mirror bounces light all round to create an airy feel.
I feel immensely proud of myself and the fantastic team that carry out my work on a weekly basis. It's a pleasure to be able to work on lovely projects, with lovely people.

Happy Monday...!
***Stunning kitchen alert***
Here's some pictures of a kitchen I have just completed this morning.... For the first time I fitted beautiful hand made mirrors, to the doors above the hob section. If you zoom in, you can see the abstract pattern running through each of the three sections. It looks amazing.
The kitchen is finished in a mix of gloss cashmere and grey fleetwood, with grey fleetwood and Silestone worktops.
Both 'Gola' profiles and minimalist handles have been used to great effect. Neff appliances have been installed and the island has a Quooker boiling water tap.
The customer was so happy this morning, to the point of getting a lump in her throat.
One of my finest jobs to date.
I'd like to thank the following local tradespeople who expertly built the extension for the client and left a lovely space for us to work in.

***LOVELY KITCHEN ALERT***
Hello all.
I’ve just had the pleasure working with some great local builders on this beautiful bungalow in South Shields.
... The clients brief was to create a minimalist, contemporary and functional space for their new home. Something that looked striking, but not ‘over the top’.
They settled on a slab door, painted and lacquered in light grey gloss. Gola profiles were used instead of traditional handles, to create a clean, minimal look. Silestone quartz worktops complete the look, along with a feature tinted mirror which takes pride of place behind the hob.
Neff, Franke and Abode appliances were used in this installation.

Good Morning..! The sun is shining and here’s a few pics to keep with the theme.
Another stunning kitchen, almost complete. Just waiting for the hob.
... Vertical and Horizontal ‘Gola’ profiles were used to create a true handle-less kitchen.
The kitchen was finished in slab painted Cashmere and accented with a Graphite Grey island.
Appliances are from Neff, along with a Franke sink and a Quooker boiling tap.
Silestone quartz Worksurfaces from Richard Hamblin Ltd complete the look.

***GOOD EVENING***
Here's some pics of a lovely job that we recently completed in Jarrow.
Design brief: To create a spacious looking kitchen, into a long, but narrow space, that turns into a small extension.... The L shape of the kitchen houses all of the appliances including an American style fridge-freezer, double oven, induction hob, discreet canopy extractor, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, sink, tap and wine cooler.
The small L shape section with seating area, also provides much needed additional storage. A bespoke media unit was also fitted into the extension.
Materials: Handle-less doors, finished in dove grey gloss and fitted to a contrasting Havana Black cabinet.
Work-surfaces are finished in Silestone quartz.
Appliances: Neff, Faber, Franke and Abode.
A stunning feature mirror was fitted along the hob wall, which both reflects light and gives the feeling of space.
The client was over the moon with the end result. Who can blame them..?

The snow hasn’t stopped us working this week.. ⛄️⛄️⛄️
If you’ve got extra tall ceilings in your home, then here’s a perfect way to utilise that height and space..!
Here’s a nearly complete example in South Shields. Finished in Supermatt Anthracite. ... Touch open doors above the wardrobes and a ‘split end panel detail’ that mirrors the lines of the doors.
Light grey interiors with a graphite front edge. The wardrobe interiors were taylor made to suit the clients needs.

Having a bespoke media centre fitted in your home, can make a dramatic difference. Here's an example of a recent installation in East Boldon. Finshed in Xylo-Cleaf vintage and matt stone. Bloody lovely.

Sorry for not posting much, but December was a bit of a blur and this month I'm working on the fit out of a high end new build.. I'll try to post more often (but not too much) in the coming months.
... For me, 2017 was definitely the year of the 'Gola' trim..
In ultra-modern kitchens, the trend of 'Gola' trim handles is growing and it's easy to see why.
Here's a recently completed example, finished in white gloss and dark metallic grey gloss. Neff appliances and Silestone worktops complete the look. I also created the walls and bulk head around the tall units, to create a look that appears to show the units have been slotted into an opening.
The profile sits in-between the tall units and acts as a spacer to allow you to open the doors. It is commonly used in high end German branded kitchens. On the island, the profile sits below the work-surface. Again, giving you easy access to open the doors.
If you're looking for a true handle-less kitchen, then this could be the one for you.

Nothing better than popping back to a job & being handed a selection of craft ales & a lovely thank you.

We couldnt be happier with our kitchen from Terry and his team, to give it 5* still isnt enough. From our first visit from Terry we knew he was the guy for the job. We had total confidence he would deliver and he has done exactly that and more. He has a fantastic knowledge of kitchen designs and offered some great ideas. We'd had a few quotes from the likes of Wren and Magnet, they were quite high and we found the salesman to be very pushy, Terry on the other hand gave us 1 price and that was it, and it was a very reasonable price. And hes not pushy! From ordering to delivering and fitting, everything ran smoothly and we were kept well informed every step of the way. The quality of the kitchen units, benches and appliances are superb and exceeded our expectations. We have no doubt they will last 10 times longer than most kitchens. The fitter that Terry supplied did an absoulute outstanding job and we cannot praise him enough. Steve is very particular, he takes his time and thinks things through. He prides himself in giving you a perfect finish, we are still amazed at how well he concealed the joins in the benches! The plumber Terry supplied also did a great job! Terry has a calm and confident attitude towards his work and mades us feel at ease with the whole process. We will be reccomending him to everyone we know wether they need a kitchen or not! Also we will hopefully be looking to use him again to design our bedroom too. Thanks again Terry and co.

We are very impressed with the work carried out by Terry and his team. He and the people he surrounds himself with are very efficient. Terry designed my kitchen 1st of all and within a matter of weeks the job was finished and to a very high standard at a very reasonable price. I was so happy with the work carried in the kitchen that decided to contact Terry regarding my sons bedroom. Needless to say we chose Terry again, his price was fairer than everywhere else we looked and the standard of finish was a much better quality, once again cant fault any of the work. We had designs and prices from other companies which we found very expensive for what they were offering. Terry had great ideas and the plans he drew up were exactly what we wanted for our new kitchen. We were having building work done and a garage conversion, so a lot of work and planning was needed. Along with the builders, Terry and lee took all the stress away from us and everybody worked together. It's taken a while for all the finishing touches but at last we can enjoy our beautiful kitchen. We cannot thank Terry enough, I would highly recommend Terry and his team for his first class work, understanding and friendly nature. I couldn't recommend Terry Lynn kitchens/bedrooms enough. I recently bought a kitchen and had it installed from Terry and his team. The kitchen is top quality, great installation and nothing is too much trouble for Terry who is a perfectionist who understood exactly what we needed from our kitchen.
