Thank you to customer services who advised me to go to library as they no longer photocopy documents- made it just in time!

User

Really nice people who helped us today when mum lost her bag thank you Tesco's and andrea alderson for your honesty.

I'm a regular shopper at Tesco simply because I use (xercise for less gym) above, unfortunately my absolute annoyance is regarding the car park every Thursday my friends and I book 2 hours at the gym then pop down to Tesco for a cuppa and a catch up by this time 3 hours have passed, we then would all go on to purchase our weekly shop at Tesco but unfortunately for Tesco we all go elsewhere as our time limit in the car park is up.......a parking permit allowing gym members to stay longer is much needed

I never really go out of my way to like and comment on pages of shops or supermarkets, but here we are... I came in today to do my standard weekly food shop, which is usually very mundane, but a lovely older gentleman served me at the till this morning and he absolutely made my day! I'm not usually fond of till staff making small talk but this guy was so happy, so fun and so helpful and polite it ended my shop on such a lovely note.

I didn't catch his name this time, but will be trying to find out next time I visit as he should be praised!

I have to say a massive thank you to tesco's Stockton the staff there are beyond amazing! My daughter who is 2.5yr old had a fit in the store, not only did they look after us and kept people away from us but they also looked after and played with with my other daughter who is 4yr old to keep her occupied for over an hour whilst waiting for the ambulance. To top it all off they have just delivered our shopping and not charged us for any of it and also brought us flowers, wine and gifts for our two girls. The staff there are amazing and what's even better is that my daughter is doing well and should be able to come home tomorrow. People like these really restore your faith in humanity. My sincere thanks goes out to the ladies that looked after my family. X

User

I had the best service ever at your store this week from a member of staff called Linzey ( shop floor ) nothing was too much trouble so Thankyou xx

User

I don't know if they will ever read this but today somebody found my phone in your car park and they handed it in and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to whoever that amazing person was!! Also a big thank you to the lady who was on your customer services this afternoon as she had called my Dad to let him know she had my phone which she didn't have to do. I live on my own with my son and I'm a total wimp so if my phone isn't nearby I panic so I am really grateful to both these people for being lovely kind people!

Absolutely overwhelmed by the customer service we received today at the click and collect counter at Durham Road Tesco. Unfortunately we had to complain about some money that had come out of our account for a transaction that wasn't complete...we had the receipt to say it wasn't going to be debited, had my bank statement showing the transaction had actually come out. So the lady rang through to find out what had gone on and was really struggling to get any sense from head office. Chloe was getting restless and needed a drink so the gentleman went and got her a FREE fruit shoot, some paper and a pen for her draw, let her help him take the security tag off an item and then once the lady had finally managed to get head office to agree to a rightful refund (which we have to wait 3-5days for) we were then issued with beautiful flowers and bottle of plonk for our troubles. Honestly I cannot thank Alison and Dan for all their help and going the extra mile. Definitely the best customer service we have received. Thank you again x

Was up on Saturday will never go again on Saturday all the shelfs where empty and was on shelfs was out of date disponted

The store is ok, but the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Dirty tables, served tea in a teapot with a huge crack in it, not very hygienic. See my post on Facebook.

I have been shopping here since the store opened, and generally have a good shopping experience, especially since self scanning came in,but the last two times I have shopped there have definitely not been pleasant I had to return this evening for second time in 2 days due to lack of fresh produce on Saturday and this evening was even worse so left with mostly empty bags, customer services couldn't have been more helpful then he pointed out a senior manager who was near by,customer services went over to manager and was explaining about our complaint, the manager didn't even stop what he was doing to look at us standing there, total lack of respect for your customers,I will be shopping else where in future

User

What a horrible places to shop the staff are unhelpful and miserable the guy who served me at the till was so miserable I think he's in the wrong job and I asked somebody for a product I couldn't find she said over there somewhere it just confirmed to me why I don't shop there very often

Visited Tesco Durham Road Stockton at 9pm tonight and it was a total disgrace, absolutely no fruit or Veg at all so why stay open 24 hrs when you have no stock, I even visited the BP petrol Station opposite to buy Lemons, Lime and Cucumber.

Thanks BP

Two lovely elderly gentlemen giving up their time for their country for free to man the poppy remembrance day stall at the entrance to the store and Tesco can't even give them a free cuppa, or a sandwich. They'd been there since 9am and only had a cup of tea and a toasted teacake (which they bought themselves) when I purchased from them at 2.30pm. I offered to buy them a cuppa myself, but of course they refused it out of pride. Raised this with a member of staff, who clearly didn't give a damn. Come on Tesco you should be ashamed!!! The millions (or is it billions??) of pounds you make in profits and you can't even give them a few free cuppas and a meal?? Disgusted!

Tesco in general needs to look into its suppliers and it's food agent Red Tractor. Animal activists recently found out that Hogwood Farm (Tesco's main supplier of pig flesh) was keeping the pigs in disgusting conditions. Pigs were left to top and decompose on the floor of the farm. Other pigs were not fed properly and therefore resulted to cannibalism, eating the decomposing pigs. One pig was found with its rear end so badly decomposed that it was more liquid than solid. The most disgusting act that humans can contribute to is to abuse and exploit the vulnerable. This is exactly what Hogwood Farm have done. They have abused and exploited these animals throughout their stay at Hogwood Farm. Tesco's failure to denounce this supplier is utterly disgusting and makes me question the standards that Tesco impose on itself. The mistreatment of these animals has been brought to Tesco's attention on many occasions and they have still failed to state that Hogwood Farm actions are horrific.

User

I'm really disappointed with my Tesco (2971) experience not just one but twice in a matter of days. As a loyal customer who frequently visited your store, it wasn't what I expected.

On Saturday (24th June) and this evening, I was met with an abundance of empty shelves and lack of fresh produce in your fruit and veg store amongst other areas of the store.

I would hate to think I was going to do my weekly or monthly shop tonight as there is slim pickings to choose from. What was there had a best before date of 27th June!

The lack of appetite of the attending management staff to listen to our feedback, who was more interested in filling the display in the entrance to the shop was even more displeasing.

I don't want to say I won't be buying anything from your store, however I will be more selective on where we shop in the future.

User

I think Tesco needs to rethink some of its policies - I collect the savers stamps so when I visited the shop the other day I withdrew some money but when I asked if the cashier could change it for the old £1 coins I was told they couldn't give change without a purchase (I had done using the scan and shop). I went back tonight and this time the machine wasn't working, there was no note on it and when I asked at the customer service counter (they used to keep them there) I was told can't keep them there anymore. I know this may seem trivial but it's little things, and I know that no one from Tescos will even comment on this either

User

I have written a letter to hear office. I have NEVER been treat so badly in my whole life. The returns desk have the worst staff I have ever witnessed. Extremely abrupt and rude. Will Never shop here again

User

I am disgusted at the way my mother who is a pensioner was treat at the store yesterday she is so upset.

She took back to the store three sets of faulty solar lights all clearly labelled Tesco , they did not work and had filled with rain water clearly a fault in the batch.

She had luckily kept one of the said box outers and the receipt however the lady who served her was rude in her manner and stated Tesco will not give you your money back for a faulty product unless you have kept both the receipt and the original packaging , beware if you are buying a TV or a fridge freezer I say!

She told my Mum she could have half the money back so £5 per set instead of the £10 they cost but only on non food products. I only wish I had been with my elderly Mum to address this rude lady who represents Tesco.

Buyer beware remember to keep all your outer boxes and receipts as the Tesco "customer service" lady stated "how do I know its from here even if it is marked Tesco? " !

I have written a letter to hear office. I have NEVER been treat so badly in my whole life. The returns desk have the worst staff I have ever witnessed. Extremely abrupt and rude. Will Never shop here again
