We had our wedding reception at the Roadhouse. The food, and DJ were great. The room was decorated beautifully and the drinks were cheap. Everyone had a great time. Would definitely consider this venue for other celebrations
Was in shields two weeks ago not been up for six years took my son in law around town called in for a pint loved it friendly staff a good drink and karaoke on a Saturday afternoon my son in law said well Denis you don’t get this in Wigan on a Saturday afternoon see you in June.....
Was in Shields yesterday as I fancied a ride down the coast in the nice weather. Popped in here and enjoyed a couple of ice cold cokes. Very reasonable price and a very friendly bar lady. Great atmos and only a few minutes walk from the Metro station.
I would happily pop back in here.

Fantastic venue to play a gig in! Great crowd, great staff and brilliant little pub! Loved it!!!
Brilliant bar. Service great. Drinks cheap. Entertainment good. Roll on next visit. �

Absolutely lovely place, friendly staff and very clean and decorated lovely!
're people in a real pub. I persuaded my mate Simon to sing on karaoke which he reluctantly did twice and he shocked the audience as he is a pro. The barmaid was one of the best ever and used to serve me when she ran Crown and Anchor in Jarrow 40 years ago she was also my neighbour on the Brossely for many years. Gladys Lyndsey. Still looks the same. Lovely lass
Good venue and staff friendly and service very good. Price wise average. However they do need to sort there heating out. I don't think having calor gas fires around the room is very safe.

Need more table and chairs the little old man who sings on a Saturday is canny but needs more wider range of music as does the same set all the time this is a very friendly place but like I stated above couple of changes need doing
