Qualsafe Level 3 First Aid at Work 3 day Course £60 per day http://www.silvertraining.com/…/qualsaf e-first-aid-at-work…/ Course Content During the course candidates will learn how to deal with the following: • Understand the role of the first aider including reference to the use of available equipment and the need for recording incidents and actions.... • Understand the importance of basic hygiene in first-aid procedures. • Assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency. • Administer first aid to a casualty who is unconscious and/or in seizure. • Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation. • Administer first aid to a casualty who is wounded or bleeding and/or in shock. • Administer first aid to a casualty who is choking. • Provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries. • Recognising the presence of major illness and applying general first aid principles in its management. • Soft tissue injuries. • Injuries to bones including suspected spinal injuries. • Chest injuries. • Burns and scalds. • Eye injuries including how to irrigate an eye. • Sudden poisoning and anaphylactic shock. • Provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries. First Aid manuals are provided for all candidates. Assessment is by trainer observation of practical tasks and two short multiple choice question papers. On successful completion of the program candidates will receive a Qualsafe certificate together with a plastic wallet sized First Aid certificate. This is valid for three years, it is recommended candidates attend an annual 3 hour refresher course. Automated External Defibrillation AED Course
A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. A person’s chance of survival falls for each minute that passes without defibrillation. Our Automated External Defibrillation AED Course will Provide heart attack sufferers the best possible chance of survival by finding out how you can use the growing number of AEDs offered in public spaces. This comprehensive 4 hour course will teach the candidate the knowledge and expertise to be able to use this life saving piece of equipment in an emergency situation. Assessment is through trainer observation of practical skills gained throughout the session On successful completion of the programme you will be awarded a Silver Training Certificate of Attendance. One day course also available on the 3rd September.

What a lovely attitude the staff have towards the building ,you can feel the love and passion as you enter the main room ,keep up the good works ladies and gents , we had a ball this weekend and was looked after perfectly can't wait to be back

Spent the Easter Weekend here watching Hawkwind. Wonderful venue and amazingly friendly staff who just wanted to make sure everyone had a brilliant time. Ace beers,tea/coffee,soft drinks and the highlight was a total Veggie/Vegan food bar for the weekend.

Recently attended the Alhambra for Hawkeaster weekend, had an amazing time loved the whole experience the building is fantastic and the staff are warm and friendly, can't wait to come back.

Back from an excellent Easter Weekend - The Alhambra hosted the Hawkeaster happening and really looked after us well.

Glad to learn this grand old lady has had a reprieve from the developers, but I'm guessing there's a long way to go yet.

My Punk Clan will be visiting later in the year and despite the 700mile round trip I am giving it some serious thought. Not all venues can generate that pull - Good Luck and see you again (y)
