Went there for a meal last night we had the valentines special the hosts were lovely the food and service was fabulous would definitely go back and would recommend this place to everyone thank you for a lovely night �

We stayed here for the night Sat 24th Feb while visiting family was lovely the room was nice and so was the place

We have just got back from a break where we stayed in this amazing pub... The staff were so homely and friendly.. The food amazing and the room was plenty adequate.. We in fact booked another couple of nights.. I would thoroughly recommend this place to stay and eat at.... Can't wait for our next break.

Sunday lunch at the Anglers Arms is perfect. We’ve been several times now and the food and service is fabulous. There were seven of us yesterday and we all really enjoyed the beef, lamb, pork, chicken and the veggie option of meatless roast with veggie gravy and extra yorkie, were all delicious. We finished with lemon tart, salted caramel cheesecake, sponge pudding and Eaton mess sundae, again superb.... our favourite place for Sunday lunch.

Really enjoyed our meal.. we had the nachos and chilli beef to share and haggis chicken wrap and a burger was absolutely lovely.. need rolled up the hill home.. service was great too thanks

Popped in on the spur of the moment for Sunday lunch. Lisa went out of her way to accommodate us even though they were full. Delicious Sunday lunch was scrummy and we’ll definitely come again.

Me and my family have been two weeks in a row for Sunday lunch. I have to say their lunch is now at the top of my list for taste and value. The beef is amazing, I am unable to fault the cooking at all. The service is also brilliant and overall the place has a lovely family feel. The quiz night on a Friday is also fun �

Lovely food can't fault it and the desserts are to die for well worth a visit as very reasonably priced

Its a brilliant wee place, the quizzes are fun and the banter is top notch! The food is delicious and the chef isn't bad on the karaoke either � pleased its our local x

It was excellent the people were very friendly the room was as advertised, food very good indeed both evening meal and breakfast I would definitely stay there again

I went for a meal with my work colleagues, food was so nice. Couldn’t fault anything, second time we have been here and would go again. Lovely range of choices.

Had the 3 course special with a bottle of wine £19.99 each and worth every penny �

Menu was different with plenty of choice and fresh cooked food.

Had a lovely mothers day dinner. Was a spur of the minute thing through the week , they managed to accommodate us and a great meal was had by all definitely go back THANKYOU

Cracking place to stay, staff really friendly and a great wee bar.

Called in on the spur of the moment for a bite to eat. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet considering it was a Saturday so we were seated immediately. The food was delicious, well presented and ample portions. As we were about to leave we discovered there was a karaoke night in the bar and we ended up having one of the best nights for a long time. Considering we were strangers we couldn’t have been made more welcome, such a laugh as well. Would highly recommend.

Another visit, fantastic food with staff and chef that accommodates dietary needs. The meals are to die for and reasonably priced. When visiting from the Midlands it one place I will visit over and over again.
