Wedding & Event Staff
Role to include: We are seeking friendly, outgoing and motivated team members to join our small family run venue.
... Working under the instruction of the Event Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth service and running of events at The Arches.
As a small team we require all staff members to be flexible and real team players.
We pride ourselves on our personal service and look for staff to reflect that. We are not “just a venue” we are a family home and ensure we extend our warmth to our guests and staff.
We have built a strong reputation for delivering flawless service for the weddings that we host, the role of our Wedding & Event Staff support us in ensuring we continue to offer this high standard of service.
This is a casual position, working on events predominately on weekends, booked throughout the year. We are able to offer a calendar of the years events, enabling staff to plan their work and personal commitments well in advance. However, we do ask for flexibility and understanding that sometimes last minute event bookings can be taken.
Key Tasks include: Assisting with the set up of weddings and events Food service Bar service General customer care throughout the event to ensure a perfect customer experience.
Over 18 yrs for bar staff. Over 17 yrs for waiting staff.
All positions applied for must have references that can be checked on.

we've stayed here twice now and it's amazing can't fault it and the staff are so welcoming we will definitely be back

We loved it here totally relaxing and Chris could not do enough for us we will definitely be coming back with our little doggie Ollie as he can stay too which is amazing �

We have just had our daughter and son in laws wedding reception here yesterday. A fantastic place. Very friendly staff and so well organised; from the moment we booked the venue to organisation and food. Could not have wished for a better venue to celebrate. Thank you to all the staff who could not do enough for us.

We got married at the arches at the beginning of the month and just wanted to say how amazing Jen, Sharon and all the staff were, they were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble and they made our day so special! The venue is absolutely stunning and the food was gorgeous (we had the carvery) the day was perfect and there's nothing we would have changed!!! If anyone is considering getting married at the Arches we couldn't recommend it enough!!

Awesome venue, great staff, food and drink flowing - and the drive up to the Arches is simply Devine with all the trees sparkling! We will be back!

Thank you Arches for the wedding we dreamt of. Having photographed lots of weddings in the past there was only one venue on our minds for our own big day. The venue itself is intimate but large enough for it to be not crowded. The staff there could not do enough for us both on the run up and during our day. The attention to detail and the service delivered to both us and out guests was second to none. Thank you Chris, Linda, Sharon and the team for your excellent service and support.



If you are looking for a hidden gem of a place and one that you can call your own for your wedding then the Arches is the place to be.

The staff were there throughout the wedding to make sure everything was perfect . And thank you for accommodating our wedding singer Simon Dorey who sung throughout the ceremony , wedding breakfast and did the disco ( and also sung) on the evening and was amazing . Thank you Jen from Ruffled Wren for the wonderful flowers so different and beautiful . Again this is such a wonderful venue and what makes it so special is the wonderful people who make sure you never forget your special occasion.. thank you so much Jodi and Andy Crooks xx

Our daughter was married here on the August bank holiday Sunday. It was a wonderful wedding in a relaxed and friendly venue. The staff were amazingly helpful and Sharon and Chris made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff worked incredibly hard to make the day very memorable. The venue is lovely and very flexible and we got to decorate it in our own way. We had the place to ourselves and the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The food was delicious and we must give a special mention to the fish platter which was part of the barbecue. We were wowed by the salmon, dressed crabs, oysters and delicious prawns. We cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience. We would certainly recommend The Arches to anyone.

My daughter & partner have just held their wedding reception here an this place was an amazing venue the staff here could not do enough for us they were remarkable an made the day extra special, the rooms here are also amazing and exceptionally clean and homely shame we were only staying the one night THANKYOU to you all it really was a magical day �

I want to say a massive thank you to everyone at The Arches for the amazing perfect day they hosted for my gorgeous son Gary Wilson and his beautiful bride Jenna Sammi Johnson. I attended my cousins wedding on Sunday and would highly recommend, the staff were extremely helpful, and nothing was too much for them. The location of the Arches is perfect especially when the weather is lovely as the outside space is fantastic with lots of outside seating areas to enjoy.
