When Should I Change My Tyres?🤔
You should change your tyres when they are on 2.0-2.5mm of tread.
Legally you can go as far as 1.6mm but when they reach this level they are illegal and could cost you £2500 and 3 points on your licence per tyre if caught 😬. Remember 1.6mm is not a target.
... Tyres wear faster when they are low on tread already and the performance is hugely reduced when they drop below 2.5mm.

In today for a late pre 🎄 Christmas 🎄 repair after been recovered from the roadside by ourselves earlier this morning.
The off side front wheel bearing decided to completely collapse😕 whilst been driven 😲 leaving the driver stranded and without transport for the Christmas period.
Swiftly rescued with our rapid deployment trailer (same piece of kit used by AA / RAC) and recovered back to the workshop to be repaired. The hardest part was finding a replacement bearing on not onl...y a sunday but Christmas Eve!!
Within several hours of been rescued this vehicle was returned to its owner and was back in service 👌🏻🎄❄️🎄 #MERRYXMAS #AUTOCLINIC

BMW E60 325 in today for replacement of the dual mass flywheel, clutch and clutch arm.
OEM spec “LUK” parts fitted
These have the self adjusting clutch pressure plate fitted. These clutches can not be fitted with a standard alignment tool due to the locking disc covering the full face of the pressure plate. ✅This job should only be attempted with the correct tools and knowledge✅

Suzuki Jimny in for loss of 4x4 and a nasty grinding noise from front axle on turning left. Both half shafts, hubs and differential removed and full axle casing flushed to clear any swarf / debri.
Built back up with a replacement diff and shafts and ready for the ❄️ winter weather ❄️🚗❄️😁

2003 Hyundai Coupe 2.0 16V in today for a replacement clutch, these have the pull type clutch fitted (as opposed to the conventional push type).
Took slightly longer than expected due to most bolts been heavily corroded / seized but job completed and back on the road within just 5 hours 20 minutes 🚗🚗😎🚗🚗👌🏻

Bodywork very presentable for its age, the only thing that lets it down at present is the small area of surface rust on passenger front door and the fuel flap been missing, but these could be easily replaced from a breakers yard at little expense if needed.
