We had a lovely evening meal at the Bamburgh Castle Inn last night and we managed to get a window seat which is always a bonus. As soon as you walk through the door it feels very warm and welcoming. I had a small portion of the steak and ale pie which never disappoints and it’s a very generous portion too. My husband had the chicken jalfrezi and it was a good sized portion and he said it was delicious, it’s one of the only times he has had a curry and said he could taste the spices in it without it burning his mouth to a degree where he couldn’t taste anything else! This has only just come on the menu and is well worth a try. All the staff are lovely, friendly and courteous. We always enjoy our visits to this place every time we visit Seahouses.

Just bobbed in here for something to eat yesterday. Was pleasantly surprised. A member of staff overheard us saying that it would have been nice to get a sea-view table and immediately guided us to one she had just cleaned. The barman was friendly and joked with my 5 year old and the food was great quality. Already thinking about booking rooms here next summer as part of our Northumberland/S E Scotland road trip. Recommended!

Great food and so dog friendly. Northumberland wouldn't be same without a meal in there!

Gorgeous food and brilliant staff! My son (only 9) lost his phone back in April when we were on our easter break at seahouses. He's been absolutely gutted since. We returned for another holiday last week and thought we'd ask, just on the off chance, to find it'd been found and handed in to the staff here. They'd kept it safe and returned it to us, even charged it up behind the bar whilst we ate so my son could get to use it sooner. Can't thank yous enough :) restored our faith in humanity and made a little boy very happy x

Another amazing meal, i dont eat big portions but was able to order from the kids menu as a light option which was fantastic. More places should do this as us oldies dont eat as much as we get older.

User

The Bamburgh Castle Inn was a friendly and very clean environment, we did not have food as we had missed the carvery, and did feel the menu was overpriced in areas a steak would set you back £26 approx, average meal £11. 95.

User

Lovely food and friendly service as always it's never let us down. Dog friendly as well.

User

Location is great. Didn’t eat but food looked great. The best view from any beer garden I’ve ever been in.

User

We have visited a few times as we did yesterday food has always been lovely.

Yesterday was disappointing the Chips were cold and frozen burger was poor for the standard of the Pub don't know whether we would go again.

User

A lovely meal, you should be able to have choice with your main course like ie the Brisket of Beef comes with rice l would have liked it with mustard mash. 😕
